I love archaeology, history, writing, art, and clouds. I love life and friends and laughter. I love to sing and dance (not necessarily good...but I don't care). Music. MUSIC IS LIFE. Give me music, paper and pen, and a hole to dig and discover, and that equates happiness to me.I am currently a student of archaeology but at the same time I am writing my first novel. I love the freedom of expression through writing and I try to write every day - short stories, poetry, etc... I like to make new friends and welcome all characters into my life - the more character, the richer the story. But to best sum up the type of people I am attracted to I turn it over to Jack:"...the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like the fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes 'Awwww!'"

My musical taste is ecclectic and usually depends on my mood... I usually like about anything that stirs me either musically or lyrically (and if it does both then I am in heaven!)...LOVE live music - all kinds!... and if there's a beat and I can dance to it, the better! lol but lyrics usually mean more to me than the beat - hence my obsession with great songwriters ;)... Now there are too many to list so I will just give a sampling (IN NO ORDER): ARTISTS I SIMPLY CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT: The Beatles, John Lennon, Dave Matthews, Counting Crows (Adam!), Coldplay, David Gray, Jack Johnson, U2, Dylan, Mary J. Blige, Alanis Morissette, Sarah McLachlan, Sting, Nek(he's an Italian singer)... and more ESSENTIALS: 50's: anything be-bop, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Platters, Nat King Cole, Buddy Holly... 60's: the whole decade - Beach Boys, Stones, The Who, Hendrix, Joplin, Dylan, The Doors, Mamas&Papas...etc... and OF COURSE: MOTOWN (Marvin, The Supremes, Otis, Sam...etc)! 70's: Led Zep, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Elton John, Billy Joel, David Bowie, Van Morrison, Black Sabbath (yeah, I said Black Sabbath...), Sly...and yes, cheesy AM radio as well 80's! Duran Duran, Culture Club, Spandau Ballet, Talking Heads, INXS, Depeche Mode, Squeeze, Bryan Adams, Men At Work...basically anything that was on REAL MTV from 1981 - 1989... don't forget Hair Bands!! ahh!! 90's... let's forget the 90's shall we? lol j/k (after all Dave and Adam came out of the 90's...) Here's my top 10 for now - the ones I know by heart (in no order): Braveheart, Titanic, Gladiator, LOTR (all 3 - they count as one item *wink*), Moulin Rouge, Princess Bride, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Forrest Gump, Godfather 1&2 (again- 1 item), Practical Magic... CLASSICS (Essentials): Casablanca, Gone With The Wind, Gaslight, African Queen, Breakfast At Tiffany's, His Girl Friday, Wizard of Oz, Cool Hand Luke, Rosemary's Baby, Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?, Meet Me In St. Louis (I just love that film!), Rebel Without A Cause, Streetcar Named Desire, West Side Story... And so many more...

People I admire: In general anyone who looks adversity in the face and says f**k you! I'm gonna live my life anyway; anyone UNWILLING to compromise their integrity for the sake of a buck; anyone who stands by what they believe in; and anyone dances like there's no one watching, sings like there's no one cringing, or laughs at inappropriate moments (i.e. finding the humor in everything)... Here's a small list of personal heroes no one knows unless you know and a couple you may know but didn't know I'd put them on this list (of course in no sensible order *wink*): Donna, Denise, Angela, Selene, Bobby Jak, Dave Bell, Dr. Charles Pellegrino, Hannibal (the ancient general not the cannibal), Guiseppe Fiorelli (the "father" of modern archaeology), John Lennon, Henry Rollins, Gilda Radner, the guy who invented microwave popcorn, and the entire cast of Monty Python's Flying Circus
