Ok so I got the job I have been wanting. And when the company that I am working for now called and asked me to take on a new client. I told them it was too far away for me to take on. the client is an hour away. so I would have to drive 2 hours a day and only work 4 hours. Plus the hours they want me to work I wouldnt be able to pick Donnie up from work on time. Dont get me wrong they are offering me $2 more an hour, but i still feel that it is to far. they calim that it is my decision but at the same time they are say that they can not believe that I am being so unprofessional and is saying how much they have helped me by keeping me busy and now they may lose a client. i told them last week that i was quiting. so why take on a client when you know you wont have coverage for that client? and how were they helping me? I mean yea i pulled more hours but if i wouldnt have they would have lost more than 1 client. Also I was working 60-70 hours a week for them and all of a sudden they could only give me 12 hours last week and 1 1/2 this week?? and they want me to sit by the phone waiting for them to allow me to work. when i was hired with them I told them up front the we had 1 vehicle and I would only take hours around donnie's schedule and that I needed to stay within a 10 mile radius. So my question is this. Since you have the new job would you just tell these morons to F*UCK off. or let them guilt trip you into doing it? |
