One Art

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.

Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.

I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.

I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.

I'd like to meet Someone who wont lie to me, someone who wont build me up just to watch me fall. Is there someone who can look me in the eyes, someone who needs me? Someone out there can hold my hand and be content in my silence, or my aimless, pointless rambling. Everything moves so fast in this life, I wan to meet someone who is ready to hold on with me for the long haul. Someone who is not afraid to yell out the car window when theyre frustrated, someone who wont get embarassed when they do something clutzy, infact why not laugh at yourself!!!! Is there someone who doesnt want to change everything about me, just be around me, be with me and except me just the way I am. Let's sit and watch the rain hit the window, well stare out past all the fields and wonder why we never met before, or maybe argue over how many lifetimes we have actually known eachtother for...either way I am already glad I met you and can't wait to get to know you!!!
