Now... I'm by no means "out of money" after not working for nearly half a year.
I'm extremely frugal and conservative with my spending.
Seriously. Compared to most, saving at all is "extremely frugal" saving 50% of your takehome?
That's some kind of monetary revolution.
HAH! THEY FIXED THE BLOGS!!!
But I am trying to punish myself for not having a job yet, and part of that punishment is NO
ABSOLUTELY ZERO
new kits.
New games.
Or "new" foods.
That means I'm not allowed to buy something I want to play with. It has to be cheap, life-sustaining, and storeable.
Whole poultry, discount cuts, full discount roasts.
Or in this month's case
legumes.
I am possitively sick with beans.
And I just finished a big bag of garbanzos... I looked through my inventory and saw that lentils were next.
Now... I like lentils.
I like the ease, the flavor, the adaptability, the nutritional value.
What I'm not crazy about is ... eating them for 2 weeks straight.
Meat costs money kids.
But I might pick up one of those $5 rotisserie chickens or 3.
Just to have on hand as opposed to eating lentils 15 times in a row.
Fresh vegetables and fruits are also typically "out" since they require more regular trips to the store, and ... it costs gas just to get there.
So
Bulk rice.
Bulk beans.
...
. . .
. . .
God I need work. There's at least 5 games and 10 kits I want, not to mention big boy paints and tools.
Oh yeah.
And I need a new PC for Brink.
