The worlds view
My son clasped my hand as we climbed to the top of the mountain.
I looked into his bright blue eyes as he said to me...
" I love climbing up , you know why mom ?"
“Why " I said picking up the pace.
.." because when you get to the top" he continued.
"The world is so much bigger, you can see forever"
"and the best part.. is that you can see how far we've come'
So there I stood at the top of the world with the eyes of a child.
Thinking, wishing, dreaming.. That everyone could see what I saw.
That everyone would realize how far they've come.
And equally important is the road ahead my son.
