I don't have any idea what day it is.
What time.
If it's early or late.
But, I know it's dark.
In my world it's always dark.
I slowly turn over in bed and pull the covers over my head, wishing I never woke up.
Like yesterday...and the day before, I disconnect from the outside world.
To me, there is that world, and there is my world.
Then, slowly the welcomed grip of slumber carries me away.
I am confused to wake up to a world that is bright a full of vivid colors. I notice intoxicating smells floating gracefully from silken petals of lovely flowers that stem from everywhere. I hear crisp clear sounds of birds chirping, slight breezes, and water from a brook trickling nearby. But then I feel a light touch on my left shoulder. It feels as if a butterfly has landed on my shoulder. But, as I look back, I see an angel with beautiful, deeply complexly colored eyes with flecks of sparks that look like magic was created in them. Your smooth skin feels as soft as porcelain and your hair shines in the sun beams. Your pink lips look so soft, and your beauty so unmatched, I am instantly stricken by your spell and put my lips to yours. As we kiss, our hands connect and fingers intertwine. I feel as if we become one. I feel like long beams of light are shining brightly from our fingertips. Our hearts beat in unison. We break just for a moment. Then....
I open my eyes.
Darkness.
I know now that my world is infinite.
