Sunday, Mothers Day May 11, 2008
Hope YOU that had reason
for celebration, did so with joy.
And those that had no reason to
give cards or flowers had an equally
fun-filled and or fulfilling Sunday!
All was good on my side of the screen.
Mother enjoyed her meal & the family
popped in to see her in sporadic fashion.
Which makes it easier for her to chat with them that way -
opposed to the all at once pandemonium that ALL the
family gathering at the same time can cause. (lots of us)
So a good gathering and happy exchanges ...
Exchanges in my family is a lot of smiles
but very little HUGS given out to each other.
Thinking back, I believe the only time we
HUG is when it's a sad or grieving period.
Which brings me to my question . . .
Are you a Hugger
I never feel the need to hug people ...
Although I've been told I'm a "GOOD HUGGER"
I guess it's a thing I CAN do if I feel it,
But cant fake one - or want to fake it!
I don't want to come off sounding
unaffectionate nor standoffish?
Because I'm genuinely a warm person
and have tons of warmth & love to give
I just feel more comfortable showing
my affections in a non-hugging ways?
So how about you?
You are you one who
can hug a stranger?
Or one that can just tell ...
"Someone needs a hug"
I think it's a good thing, really ...
It's just not my thing?
Today's comment(s) were make today -
I really don't go too overboard ...
(well not anymore overboard)
Than I generally do on EVERYDAY
Just for a - HOLIDAY - You receive
SPECIAL holiday greetings from everyone
So I'm a celebrate life daily kinda guy
I'll stick to letting the card & flower industries
Put the extra effort and reap the rewards.
But I'll still make them ...
I just don't put anymore
effort into a holiday greeting.
I CANT compete with the professionals!
Below are my TWO greetings
that I sent out today ...
I don't Think Anda is a mother
nor even if there is such
a holiday in Romania???
And as far I know, Tink
Nor Neppi or Cubby are mothers?
So heres both:
