As another birthday has come and gone
I move forward and have only the review
to glance at as my wheels of life turn ahead ...
Making the object's appear closer than life.
A bittersweet 45th celebration of my life.
I will reflect to my 44th year with loss
as well as gain - losing friends in RL
and growing closer to some here @ fubar
I just wanted to say a special hello
to a few of my fu-friends today.
While grieving over the loss of one friend
a few others right here on this very site
grew a little more closer. As the old adage
goes and somewhat true to an extent:
"When one door closes it opens another"
Well although I'm sure either of them
seen their support and help while I was
down as significant, It was for me.
I see people that give their "TIME"
to help others as one of the most giving
things to give another. It's not as though
we can 'create' more time to give ...
We're all given 24 hours in each day,
and when you are willing to give of
that - as to help another - it means,
more than likely that you took your
own presious time away from yourself.
So, I thank you -Thank You for giving me
something that ...with my friends death -
Made me realize how little time we all have.

one is certain how much we have to give.
And with another birthday the more
I realize how fast it slips away!
In an unrelated matter, folks like to ask:
"What you do - What cha get - did you enjoy it"?
For your birthday ...
Well, in that order
Chilled with family first
then friends second (right here on fubar)
My youngest give me breakfast in bed
Fresh picked flowers & homemade card.
My middle child gave me a back message thingy
That you roll, god its wonderful and feels good.
And thirdly - Yes, it was more than
I hoped for and very surprising.
Add my fubar 'overwhelming' experience
and I'd call it a heart warming and relaxing day.
Which leads me to my own question:
What's your favorite B-day food?
I leave that vague ...
So you can pick your meal
or snack or dessert of choice ...
As I mentioned Lexy made
me my breakfast in bed today.
It was the second time in a row
for my birthday, and I gotta say
that has to be my favorite.
Not 'What' she made, but the ACT
of her doing it & seeing her going
to great measures to make things
as nice as possible with a little added
love that shows from the 'extra's'
Oh, and for a ten year old - it's
quite amazing how well she did.
So how about you?
You a go out to the restaurant type
Or a grill out/order in?
Prefer the snacks or the CAKE?
What's your food of choice,
the 'must have' to (pardon the pun)
"Put the Icing on the cake"?
Well whipped the comment up special
for today late last night ...
