Interests
Ok, well I am a Shiatsu Therapist in Fresno, CA..It is what I love to do. Still do some side work in the handyman/woman area with Crimson my boyfriend. Mainly painting and cleaning, some plumbing. Trying to learn all I can. We are mainly homebodies these days, since we moved recently from an apartmant to a house (still renting but at least we have a yard of our own now) I have been working on going as green as possible in the new place, composting and all. Gonna have some black gold dirt for a garden next year. Hit me up for a tomatoe next summer, bet they will be huge :)
Movies
I am a home movie watcher, cannot justify paying to see them int he theatre anymore, since the movies are shorter and the price is way higher. Most of the time I can wait for the dvd, but sometimes there is something that screams needing to be seen ont he big screen. Went to see Hellboy2 the first weekend but they were sold out.:( So have yet to see it, but that is one that is gonna need to big screen for the effects. I like some "chick flicks" on the right occasion, but mainly like some action in a movie. I don't have the best memory for the names of movies, but high action keeps me all tensed up waiting for the guy to save someone or himself, on the edge of my seat girl I guess. THen there are the classic movies from Cheech and Chong, and I love comedy movies, not so big on Slap Stick, think that Leslie Neilson is just stupid not really funny.
Idols
Wow, My idols are kids that see the world through rose colored glasses and are such little warriors for all kinds of world concerns. My mom has over the years become an idol of mine, long way from when I was younger. I see now how hard she worked to keep it all afloat when we were younger. My dad as well, he is a go getter, seems to never stop, sometimes to his detriment but he always does what he wants and is always busy. I really appreciate all kinds of people, and since doing massage have had the chance to encounter so many types of folks. Something about most of them has taught me to be a better person as well as a better therapist for helping to heal their aches and pains. Does any of this make sense to anyone but me? LOL think that is enough rambling for now.
