The weekend off! Woot woot! 2 days of much needed r&r! As I was enjoying my morning cup of coffee, mmm the sweet nectar of life, I decided that today my old, worn out, stinky, thin as hell shoes would be replaced. Noon time I found myself at Kmarts. Yeah yeah,, I know,, Kmart shoes suck, but with limited funds and how rough I am on shoes, cheapies work just fine. I noticed that the girl scouts had set up camp inside the foyer of Kmart. I was carefull not to cast a glance that way. I did not want to buy cookies! Very good cookies,, but a bit overpriced for me. My plan was to skirt around someone as they were leaving, so i didnt have to tell the girl scouts " No! I dont want cookies!" Plan failed, this lil brown haired, big eyed cutie attacked me as i was trying to walk out. With those big brown eyes, and the " pwease mista, will you buy some cookies?" I was powerless, bought 3 boxes. As i was walking out I heard a "YES!!" coming from that lil cutie. She got me.
When I got home, I had walked into a disaster. Brendan and his lil buddy want to swap bikes. They decided that a full break down inspection of the bicycles was required. My garage had bike parts and bearings scattered from end to end. I peeked inside, seen that was going on, and quickly walked back out. Brendan, his buddy Cody and their acquaintance Tyler were all in the garage. They seen that I had cookies and soon a stampede followed me into the house. No you cant have cookies! These are my cookies! Mine Mine Mine! "Oh dad! you got somoas!" Terry says " you got my shortbread cookies!!!" NO! These are my cookies! go get your own cookies! these are mine mine mine!
They left me a box of peanut butter sandwich cookies. sighs.
Brendan came to me and said " dad, we have to have these bikes back together in 30 mins, cause Cody has to go home, and his parents want to see what we are wanting to trade. GRRRRR
Tyler,,, how come you havent gone home yet? you havent been home in 2 days, you ate all the food, and your chicken clucking laugh is gonna make my brain hemorrhage. Tyler finally went home, but not without sticking a few bearings in his pocket. Grrrr!
The bikes are put back together now, brendan and cody are on their way to cody's house. I ate that whole damn box of peanut butter sandwich cookies and now plan on vegging on the couch till the next wave of monsters invade.
