Alot of us, when we are depressed turn to self injury. What is it that makes us injure ourselves? Why do some people cut while others burn? For myself, I burn because I seek a physical pain to match an emotional one. But where does this compulsion come from? WHY do I have to burn? I cant answer these questions, and I dont think anyone else can either. But whatever the reason behind it, those burns help me through the endless night.
