I am a Kansas farm kid who joined the navy and traveled the world. I was injured while serving in the gulf outside of Iraq and now I am medically retired from the navy with several injuries that are incurable. It makes for some very painful times more often then I desire. But I always say I would rather feel this pain any day then see a young child feel an ounce my pain! My injuries, at least, were for a good cause, or so I believe. I am currently living in San Diego (to stay close to my doctors) luckily I have found an opportunity which I makes much more money then when I was active duty and gives me plenty enough to get by so I am planning to buy a house in Japan soon.
