-My name is Jamie Lee and I'm 20 years young and currently not enrolled in college lol but no worries I fully intend to pick it up in the fall....this time NOT dropping out. Alot has changed in my life the past few years and I've grown from each and every experience......making me see where I really want to go and what I REALLY want to do.


-I'm Native American, part of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of North Western Montana. I know not many of you probably know about my tribe but I assure you we're very real and not just posers haha. So taking a side note here's a little bit of history…….

~~~The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation are the Bitterroot Salish, Kootenai and Pend d'Oreilles Tribes. They lived between the Cascade Mountains and Rocky Mountains. The Salish (Flatheads) initially lived entirely east of the Continental Divide but established their headquarters near the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains. Occasionally hunting parties went west of the Continental Divide but never east of the Bitterroot Range. The easternmost edge of their ancestral hunting forays were the Gallatin, Crazy Mountain, and Little Belt Ranges.
They were called the Flathead Indians by the first white men who came to the Columbia River. The name is often said to derive from the flat skull produced by binding infant's skulls with boards. However, this is mistaken folk etymology, as the tribes never practiced head flattening. In fact, the Salish were called "flat head" because the tops of their heads were not pointed like those of neighboring tribes people who practiced vertical head-binding. The sign language used by neighboring tribes to distinguish the Flatheads consisted of "pressing each side of the head" with the hands. The Flatheads call themselves Salish meaning the people.~~~

-I have 7 sisters and 3 brothers, well actually to break it down even more I have 3 older half sisters 2 older half brothers, 1 older adopted sister, 3 younger adopted sisters and 1 older adopted brother. Now look at that and tell me my family isn’t complicated haha.

-I don't get offended easily and am up for a good debate as long as its on a valid subject that's worth the time and effort. For the most part I'm a happy person with a positive outlook on life, although I do have my times when everything looks bleak and I need someone to help me up on my feet again. Although I’m only 18 years old I've probably been threw more than most will go threw in a life time. I'm much more mature than a lot of people my age and thus probably justifies why you'll see me hanging out with the older groups or dating someone who is older than myself. I'm grateful for the many things that my life has brought to me both good and bad, for without the bad there would be no good. Thus must be the reason why I feel such gratitude for those small things in life that most people pass up including but not limited to hearing someone laugh, piggy back rides, late night drives, a huge, a smile, a warm embrace from a loved one, cuddling, helping others and so on and so forth.

-There isn't really anything I am truly scared of losing in this world. I have been through a lot and I know Ill be through even more in the years to come. Even though I may be young I have reached a point to where I've stopped caring so much about what others think of me. I am able to accept my flaws, differences and learn from the mistakes I have made and will surely make. I am a human being with a right to my own opinions and thoughts. I will respect your so if nothing else I ask for the same from you in return.

-I have met lots of different people in my life and wish to meet many more wonderful people. People who keep me smiling, who inspire me, intrigue me, indulge me with intellectual conversations.

-I like to be treated with respect, and if you can do that then well get along just fine. I was raised with good morals and values. I have been told I have a HUGE heart and that can sometimes get me into trouble. I am very old fashioned when it comes to romance and believe that the little things are the ones that count the most. I do not believe in one night stands, two night stands etc. I am against cheating and never have done it and never will do it, although I have been cheated on. Loyalty is something I live by and integrity is an important part of who I am



-Roses are red, NATIVES are brown, I will not frown in my own town. My NATIVE pride, I will not hide. My NATIVE race, I would dare not disgrace. My NATIVE blood flows hot & true, My skin is RED, yours is too. My NATIVE people will always stand by, Through thick & thin, Til' the day we die. Our NATIVE NATIONS are better than any other, We will live forever, if we take care of each other. NATIVE pride is what I represent. NATIVE blood is what I got from DESCENT. So step aside and let me through, Cuz its all about this NATIVE CREW. Life sucks and then we die But us NATIVES WILL DIE WITH OUR HEADS HELD HIGH! IF YOU'RE NATIVE LET IT SHOW... DONT BE SCUURRED TO LET IT GROW.
