12 days until my 23rd birthday. 37 days until my due date. hehehe Saved Brad's ass last night. He and Jen were stuck at work with out enough gas to get back home. So I drove into town and bought them some gas (well mom did) so they could make it home. And as it turns out Mom's car is kinda fucked right now so Brad's going to be coming over to look at it today. The alternator/powersteering belt brought apparently. At least that is what all sources indicate. Hopefully it isn't something more annoying and expensive. I've been working as a CNA for the last 14 years...It wasn't my intention to stay in it so long...I wanted to go on and become a nurse...Being single...and the kids small at the time...I put it off...Having to work full time and go to school full time..when would I be home with my kids...Yeah..that's the excuse I've always used...Just no time... I worked psych for 10 yrs of that...I loved it...I believe that those patients brought me out of my shell that I was comfortable in...Let's just say I was a doormat to most anyone that came in contact with me...But with psych patients..you can't be that way...They are a tough bunch of people...Whether it be physical or mental...either way...they came at you full force... Now..I'm back in geriatrics...And it's quite the change...I like it...It's ok...A little bit more slower paced and the residents aren't ready to kill you every time you turn your back...In fact..they're grateful for any kind of help that you give them... Having not slept in 3 nights, gave my friend the dream stalker a chance to plan he next visit. I dream of stalkers a lot. I have been stalk and love every second of it. Being watched. A few weeks ago I was at a friends house, we were all mellowing from a nite of partying. In his backyard I sat with three other friends (mostly everyone had went home by now). I was sitting next to one of my very close friends and he was talking to the guy across from him. Bank Seeks 6 Billion Euro Bailout
French banking giant Credit Agricole said on Tuesday it was seeking 5.9 billion euros (9.2 billion dollars) in fresh cash from shareholders after taking new charges of 1.2 billion euros for problems in the US subprime market. The bank said its first quarter net profit would be 892 million euros, tumbling from the year-earlier 2.66 billion euros, after a write-down of 1.21 billion euros to cover credit problems at Calyon, its investment bank. At&t To Boost 3g Network To 20m Next Year
AT&T to boost 3G speeds more than fivefold by 2009 By Katie Marsal Published: 11:20 AM EST AT&T said Wednesday it plans to boost the speed of its 3G wireless network to speeds of 20 megabits per second in 2009, paving the way for over-the-air downloads that are more than five times faster than what customers can achieve today. Remember those two gals from Florida that stole money from a Girl Scout selling cookies? Well they made the news again a few weeks back. In March I reported the bratty behavior of two Boynton Beach, Fla., high school girls who not only swiped money from a Girl Scout selling cookies at a supermarket, but then told a TV station on camera that they were "pissed" because they got caught and had to give the money back. Like A Hit In The Gut....
So out of no where 2 days ago we got a phone call that an aunt of mine lost her battle to cancer. She has battled breast cancer for 5 years and was actually in remission but then it came back and nothing could be done for her this time....So just like that she was gone. Not to play games, but because it’s the cheapest way to get the powerful processors that create the photorealistic graphics for PlayStation games. Baby Sister
So my baby sister is in the Army. She's a 29 yr old single mother of two precious lil boys. She's had to sign over custody of both boys to my parents because she's being shipped off to Iraq. She'll be gone for 13 months (at least) and we're hoping she comes home safe. She's a dedicated mother, a best friend a sister could have and I miss her terribly. So who do you go to when your COC sucks? Why do people get chapters because they want out so they threaten to kill themselves, yet others have to die of heart problems to get out? My Dad
My mom and dad divorced when I was four and as a result I've had an unusual relationship with my father ever since. Don't get me wrong. New England Clam Chowder
NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER 24 fresh clams ( 3 6 1/2 ounce cans of whole or chopped clams with liquid.) 4 cups boiling water 2 tablespoons butter 1 small onion, chopped 2 slices lean bacon, cooked and crumbled 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced 4 cups water 1 quart milk or half-and-half salt and freshly ground black pepper Clean the clams thoroughly with a vegetable brush if using fresh. In a large soup pot, cover the unopened clams with the boiling water. As each shell opens, remove the clam and set aside. Pour the liquor from each shell into the soup pot. Remove the thin skin from each reserved clam and cut off the black end and discard. Chop the tough parts of the clams and the the soft parts whole. Set aside. In a small saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter and saute the onion until transparent. Add the onion, bacon, potatoes, and the water to the soup pot.
