I'm Pissed Cause....
Sorry guys. I didn't expect to get 20 "why you pissed" messages when I changed my status. lol. To answer everyone's question, this is what happened. We gave our landlord's over $1600 in June. That was 6 months rent. Well we found out a couple hours ago that all they paid on the place out of OUR money was $400. Now they are going to foreclose and we have to move. Thank God another one of our friends is going to let us move in one of his houses with no deposit. The only thing that SUX about the house we are moving into is it's only 2 bedroom, 1 bath and there are 5 of us. But oh well. I guess it could be worse. I'm just really trying to calm down right now. The New Job
I'm sure the (very) few friends that I have left on here have noticed that I'm hardly ever around anymore... and that's due to my new job (which I started back in May, 07). When I made the choice to leave my job of 13 years, I was really nervous and didn't know whether I was making the right choice. Well, I'm happy to say that I DID made the right decision for myself and my family! The hours are much better, the work is less stressful and the perks have been rather sweet as well! I haven't really made and good friends at my new workplace (like the ones I left behind), but everyone is nice... Walnut Chicken Recipe
INGREDIENTS: * 3 to 4 pounds chicken pieces * 1/4 cup vegetable oil * 1 cup sliced fresh or frozen green beans * 3/4 cup sliced celery, with some leaves * 1 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon brown sugar * 1/4 teaspoon pepper * 1 cup chicken broth * 1 tablespoon cornstarch * 1 tablespoons soy sauce * 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms * 1 can (5 ounces) sliced water chestnuts * 1/2 cup walnuts PREPARATION: In a large heavy skillet, heat oil. Add chicken and brown on all sides; reduce heat, cover, and let chicken cook slowly for 20 minutes. Add green beans, celery, seasonings, and broth. Cook 8 to 10 minutes.Combine cornstarch and soy sauce; stir into the chicken mixture with mushrooms, and cook until thickened. Add water chestnuts and walnuts; heat through. It certainly is not my fault I know the right people to get what I want. I wanted to meet Drowning Pool and hang out with them and had the oppertunity to do so. Update On My Week Of Hell!!
Ok, so the drunk came into my house to goto the bathroom after i let him in! He slept inside after my kids went to school. I took a half day off and came home to watch over the drunk and make sure he was ok. I wasn't enableing him, just looking out for his safety. I had him call a few rehab clinics to get a bed and it took about 5 hours of him falling asleep and calling to finally find one. One catch though, it won't be available till tomorrow morning at 9am. So i have to drive him about 45 mins. to the place. Hopefully this time it will help?! He has been in about 20 diff. times throughout his life and having him here makes my life unmanageable which is why i went to AA to do the 12 steps in the first place. So after tomorrow i will work on my sanity and get back to working on myself. U can't fix anybody who isn't ready in their heart to be fixed. Lesson of a lifetime! We learn from our mistakes. Creole Pork Chops
INGREDIENTS: * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or shortening * 4 center-cut loin pork chops * 4 tablespoons flour, seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika * 1 cup water or chicken broth * 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper * 1/2 cup chopped onion * 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion tops * 1/4 cup chopped celery * dash cayenne pepper * salt and pepper to taste * bay leaf PREPARATION: Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Dredge pork chops in seasoned flour and brown both sides in the hot fat. Pour in 1 cup of water or broth; add remaining ingredients. Let's do some speculating and debating. What makes a book work? Both for you personally and as a financial success. Today's topic: At First Glance... book covers! I tend to like simple covers that capture a moment or a feeling from the book rather than ones that try to convey the whole book. It also helps if they actually have something to do with the story within. I've seen plenty that were obviously meant to just grab attention and didn't reflect anything close to the story. Here are some killer book covers in my opinion. Of course, this is just a few of the ones I liked. I love the colors, and the tattoo. The lettering is unobtrusive. I like the title too. This one is crisp and unassuming with just a hint of something darker. Again, the lettering doesn't get in the way, and the colors make me think of twilight. Same things, really. Gas Station Maury
Alright, here's the scoop. I go to the same gas station on my way to work every morning to get a Monster energy drink. So I get there at the gas station, grab my drink and go stand in line waiting to pay. So I'm waiting to pay right, and this lady with her little kid is in line next to me. I notice out of the corner of my eye the little kid's just staring at me. So I very nicely turn to the little kid and smile back. All of a sudden the kid point's his finger at me, look's up at his mom and says, "Mommy, is that my daddy?" Well, I got a call from my new platoon sergeant today. The other one went on leave before he reports to Drill Sergeant School. Anyways, he called, and said: When do you want to come in? No Concern.
You know, the one thing that REALLY hurts me is the fact that he doesn't call to check on our little man and see if he is okay. Tonight, he is out at a bar with no concern that his son needs diapers....knowing I have no money to go get them. He surely is not the person I thought he was. Nicole slowly walked into the bathroom not surprised to see Bobby already up. He smiled warmly at her while she only gave a grumpy attempt of a smile. This sautéed steak dish gets topped with a heavenly brandy-cream sauce. Ingredients 2 Tbs. colorful peppercorn mixture 1 tsp. coriander seeds 2 steaks about 1" thick 1 Tbs. butter 1 Tbs. vegetable or olive oil 1/4 C. whipping cream 1/4 C. brandy Directions Coarsely crush the peppercorns and coriander seeds using a mortar and pestle (see notes). In a 10" heavy skillet heat the butter and oil over moderate heat until hot but not smoking and cook steaks 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Season steaks with salt and transfer to heated plate; tent with foil. Pour off excess fat from skillet and add cream and brandy. Boil mixture, scraping up browned bits, until sauce thickens enough to coat back of spoon, about 1-2 minutes. Season lightly with salt. Spoon sauce over steaks. Serve. This is a hearty stew that makes a fabulous meal in the winter time! Make a whole pot and it'll feed your family for a week. With potatoes, squash, carrots, onions and corn, you'll be full for a while! My Baby Boy
Today is a funny day. I have put my son on pottytraining. He is actually doing pretty good. His father pushed him into it this summer and he rebeled againt it for awhile but now he is doing it all by himself. He is such a big boy. This Eastern European dish is a traditional stew and is often served with rye bread. Sauerkraut, pork, ham and sausage make it a filling dish with lots of meat. hi Current mood: intimidated How was everyone's weekend? Mine was ok. I spent a lot of it cleaning. I didn't get much school stuff accomplished, but atleast my house is cleaner. Excited About The Future!
No I am not talking about micro computers, teleporting, hovering cars and space travel...but all that would be cool. I am talking about making a change to get where I want to go! A great recipe to feed the kids for lunch or dinner. Ingredients 1 lb. ground beef 1 medium onion - chopped (1/2 C.) 1 jar taco sauce - (16 oz.) 1 C. shredded cheddar cheese - (4 oz.) 1 C. Original Bisquick 1/2 C. milk 1 egg Directions Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook beef and onion in ovenproof 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in taco sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour over beef mixture. Bake about 30 minutes or until golden brown. You can add sour cream, chopped lettuce and tomatoes for toppings. Yield: 6 Servings.

WELL... I feel like shit... I'm going back to the ER this weekend... either tonight or tomorrow... Oh boy. I drank a lot of water last night before going to bed. Big mistake! I got up probably 15 times in the middle of this night! That does not make for a good nights sleep. Medical Scare And Life.
I went to the doctors for a checkup...I found out my blood pressure is borderline of being too high....It's just acting up a little bit. My mother had thyroid cancer. My grandmother had problems with it too. And now I'm having problems. For those who are unfamiliar with it. The thyroid controls alot of your energy, your moods and who you are a person really. I was diagnosed not too long ago for having a case of By polar disorder. I am able to function normally but damn this is driving me nuts. And starting soon my medication gets changed to a more cheaper drug..And the doctor was not happy about my weight. This is a new doctor for me. She handed me a calorie sheet that made me feel ....so much worse. And to top it all off I have to get a blood test before I go back in 2 weeks. And I'm planning to get some counseling done when I can . At the end of the month I usually get a little stressed.
