Day by day she fades away,
Into another distance memory.
All she ever wanted,
Was to be love by one,
They way she loves them.
She won’t ever understand,
The way humans work.
She’ll never feel true love.
By time it comes her way,
She’ll be colder then ice.
Her heart will be,
Tougher then steel.
With each moment of pain,
She covers it with a smile.
The rare moments of joy,
She clings to with all her might.
Grasping for her sanity,
What little bit she may have.
The darkness comes,
But this time so does light.
And in an instant,
Her body dies.
Her soul is free,
And for the first time,
She begins to really live.

She built her wall,
And burned all her bridges.
Hoping to forget,
A love she once knew.
The pain went away,
And happiness moved in.
Then from the shadows,
He creeped back in.
Just out of the blue,
One day he was there.
She stood still in awe,
As her walled crumbled.
She holds on tight,
To her new found happiness.
And guards her heart,
With all her strength.
She looks up to the stars,
Knowing all will be ok.
Understanding the power,
Of her God.
She knows it was he,
Who took away her Pain.
And smile to the sky,
When she feels nothing but joy.
She walks unto her fathers alter,
With a tear strickin face.
Holding forth her heart.
For him to mend up for her.
He reaches out his gentle hands,
And wipes away her tears.
Softly her pulls her close,
Embracing and kissing her forehead.
He places his gentle hands,
Around her broken heart.
Granting her comfort,
In her time of need.
Softly he whispers,
Fear not my child.
I will patch you up,
And take away your pain.
She becomes overwhelmed with peace,
And watches her broken heart.
One by one the cracks,
Each began to scar over.
He removes his hands,
From her scared heart.
Nods to her,
And says I love you!
She spends her whole life,
Looking for happiness.
Everytime she finds it,
She chases it away.
So scared of losing it,
She holds on to tight.
Constricting its' need,
To live and grow freely.
She always has to learn,
The hardest way possible.
Why can't she be happy,
Deep within herself.
What is the root cause,
Of all her pain?
Then it clicks in,
And it all makes sense.
The fear of,
Not being love.
She runs the blade,
Slowly down her veins.
Lightly tracing over,
Each and everyone.
Trying to decide,
Which one she should pierce first.
Looking for the one,
That most abundant.
The one that will,
Satisfy her taste for pain.
Finding the one,
That will suite her needs.
She applies pressure,
And watches in awe.
Slowly the blood,
Begins to trickle.
She scrutinize the path,
The blood chooces to take.
Asking herself why,
It had taken that route.
She dig the blade deeper,
Savoring each moment.
Feeling overwhelmed,
With the dominion of each motion.
She begans to laugh,
Unable to compose herself.
As the pain deep within her,
slowly dwindles away.
And the blood,
Begans to flow freely.
She drifts off to sleep,
Hopeful for a dreamless rest.
But instead she finds,
Her forbidden animal.
He lurks around,
With his scaly body.
Slithering slowly,
Around her feet.
He wears a smile,
For he knows he has won.
Slowly he goes,
Up and around her.
Working his way,
Up her body.
Tighting his hold,
Constricting her moves.
Soon they become,
Face to face.
He opens his mouth,
Fliking his tongue.
In a moments thought,
Only darkness remains.

She put up a front,
Pretends all is well.
But on the insides,
Slowly she dies.
Once she had it all,
And everlasting love.
She'd always been told,
Love conqures it all.
Now she knows,
Just what a lies that was.
Everything is gone,
Inculding her love.
She is left alone,
To whittler away.
Each day looms darker,
As she submits to her forlornness.
She supresses her thoughts,
For all is lost.
Life itself,
Has lost its' purpose.
Unspoken
By: April Terry
The words roll around,
In her mind.
She longs to release them,
But yet she remains Silent.
S many unspoken thoughts,
That soon leads to anger.
Loathing the sight of herself,
Knowing how weak she really is.
Building wall after wall,
She barricades herself within.
Leaving only herself,
And her unspoken words inside.
Slowly the words began to rise,
Speaking with the intent to be heard.
They roar louder and louder,
Until they shatter a wall.
She tries to control them,
Telling them nothing matters.
Trying to convince herself,
Of this matter too,
She yells as loud as she can,
NOTHING MATTERS ANYWAYS!
The unspoken words explode,
Destroying every single wall.
Releasing themselves from within,
Shouting as they please.
Screaming every word in anger,
That she ever held back.
Suddenly she feels better,
And peace slowly rolls in.
She fades away,
Into a cave.
Hiding from a world,
That makes no sense.
Letting the damp air,
Close tightly around her.
Wishing she'd disappear,
And become forever gone.
Knowing all is lost,
But never forgotten.
She seeps deeper within,
The dark damp cave.
Twisting and winding,
It goes on and on.
A left here,
And a right there.
Surly she will get lost,
Never to return.
Fearing all,
She once loved.
Loving all,
She once feared.
Her twisted little nightmare,
Has yet to begin.
Coming to terms,
And embracing the reality.
Once blind to the truth,
For fear of what it was.
Standing back and looking in,
I now know,
I'm better without you.
The first day,
I felt as i could die.
But the question is,
Is Man worth dying over.
Your child is,
But no man will ever be.
Each day the pain,
slowly fades away.
The wounds on my heart,
soon start to heal.
Another battle scar,
Of this life of mine.
I uncover another wolf,
In sheeps clothing.
Do not say forever,
Forever is such a long time.
Do not make promises,
If you have doubt.
No longer holding on,
To the past I once had.
I step on ahead,
And leave you behind.
I can see now,
I desevre better then you.
So tell me no more lies,
For the truth will set you free.
