Sharkfin's blog: "Chaos"

Good Morning. It’s pick your topic day…you will see why… Nebraska state senator sues God Injunction sought against Him for allegedly causing deaths, making threats Updated: 9:51 p.m. ET Sept 17, 2007 LINCOLN, Neb. - The defendant in a state senator’s lawsuit is accused of causing untold death and horror and threatening to cause more still. He can be sued in Douglas County, the legislator claims, because He’s everywhere. Army officer Bryan Hilferty, a volunteer Llittle League umpire in Alexandria, Va., complained to The Washington Post in July that when he requested a copy of the League rulebook (to help him be a better umpire), he was turned down. Hilferty, who has access to classified information in his job at the Pentagon, was told that the Little League restricts its rulebooks, on a "need to know" basis, so as not to invite litigation, and that Hilferty did not qualify. [Washington Post, 7-29-07] In July, the Houston School District, citing student privacy laws, declined to release last season's Bellaire High School baseball statistics (such as batting averages), even though requested by a player's parent. [Houston Chronicle, 7-19-07] Serena Yen, a member of the 24 Hour Fitness gym in Houston complained to KTRK-TV in July that she had been inadvertently shut inside recently at about midnight while using an upstairs exercise machine, when employees locked up for the night. A spokesman at the company's headquarters said that "24 Hour" does not refer to the hours of operation. [KTRK-TV (Houston), 7-17-07] Jazmine Roberts, 19, was apprehended by a Neiman Marcus security guard in White Plains, N.Y., in August and held for police after she allegedly walked out of the store with a $250 pair of jeans and raged against the guard. According to a police report, Roberts was under the impression that once she walked out the door, she was immune from arrest, telling the guard, "It's too late. I already left the store." [Journal News (White Plains, N.Y.), 8-7-07] So here is the deal. You may sue anyone or anything. But, you may not have your Child’s Batting Average or allow a Military personal to have a copy of a Little League rule book and you might want to make sure 24 hours means operational period and not how long it takes to produce a specified result. Oh and the doorway to stores is not considered the point of where you own it and they don’t… Oh I am keeping this on the up and up. I remember saying all news this week would be good news. So in keeping with the verdict I choose to uphold. There is good news all around today’s blogatary rebuttal. (Blog-a-tary) well it means and yes I just made it up, but it means the same thing as any other blog with the exception it shall not affect your daily routines. The good news comes in a form of this. While each of our state senators may be full of hot air and wasting your tax dollars they are not suing God like in Nebraska’s case. No matter how you feel about school policy’s their decision is the final one. The rank you may have held in a government position does not overrule anything the Little League keeps sacred and possession is not 9 tenths of the law… Wow!... and to think the 19 year old could have made off with the Neman Marcus Cookie recipe… Have a beautiful day. A huge hug and a pat that gets a second look… Mart
