I graduated on Monday.
Now I have the rest of this week off to be with John and the Kids!
We've gone to the beach and are planning another picnic day there.

Went out with a few of my girlfriends this evening! damn did i need that break.
A few beers, on the patio with good company, couldn't ask for better.
I do have a question for you wonderous fu-peeps:
Am I ridiculous for being annoyed with the waitress for
1) taking 35 minutes to come to our table the first time?
2) not bringing our drinks for another 10 minutes?
3) bringing out our food after it had become hard?
4) screwing up the bill in epic proportions?
Aside from the fact that she was retarded, we all had a great time. I think bad service may just be a pet peeve of mine.
so i've noticed, over the course of time - that we make friends.. and we lose them.
sometimes, it's the people we never thought we'd fall away from, that shock us the most.
there are days that i log on here, and visit the pages of certain "past friends" and wonder what the hell happened?
but then i realize that this is just the way life is. we fall away from our school mates after graduation. we stop being so close to our siblings after we move out of the house. its a lot like the honeymoon period of a marriage, i suppose.
so, can anyone shed some light on why it always sucks so much? cause i'm at a total loss...
you'd think that we, as human beings would be totally used to this progression of things.

ok guys. i'm not really good at sharing a ton of personal stuff, but i'll do my very best.
1) i am the oldest of my father's children and the youngest of my mother's.
2) i lost the most important woman in my life, to breast cancer in 2005. the grief sent me into the worst bout of depression i've ever known (i was 5 months pregnant and subsequently delivered a premature, 4 pound son)
3) i was a very troubled teenager, and ended up in several different "homes" due to my behavior.
4) i believe in God, but am not affiliated with a church right now.
5) the last year has shown me that i'm capable of anything i put my mind to.. and i WILL see myself through the things i have committed to.
6) i'm addicted to music, without it.. nothing in my world would make sense.
7)i used to be a nail biter, but gave it up 3 years ago.. and now my damn nails break all the time.
8) i'm feircely loyal to my friends and family. i will stand behind those that i love, until the bitter end. (unless i have been wronged)
9) i had my first child at the age of 17 and never regretted her for a single second. no one raised my kids for me, and i have always had a difficult time even getting family to babysit for a doctor's appointment.
10) in 4 months time, i will graduate from a private collage for hair design and skin care. then i will be able to say that i finally completed something i started, and i will be able to make money, doing what i love!

so, the kids and i have been enjoying the last few weeks of the summer together.
actually, we've done quite a few things.. all considering that this summer, in buffalo has been mostly all rain and gloom.
a visit to the beach, and going to free concerts on the canal have been a few of the best. we've gone to visit with family, and i'm still trying to find the right day for the pool...
we've got 2 weeks left, and i'm sooo freaking glad that school starts back up soon. but, i would love any suggestions from you guys, things that the kids and i could do for fun, these last few weeks?
