Good Morning… I sit here as distant rumbles of thunder groan and dissipate in a shadowing echo. Yes the rain has not forsaken us, it still remains close at hand. Plans for the ark have been written, notarized and sealed. I think who I would take. Wow, now there is a good question. It’s not a question of humanity. It’s not a question of guilt or who deserves to ride the boat out. Those who know me know I joking about the ark, boat. But, here is the deal what I said was true. Ask yourself who you would choose to ride out the storm. Each of us has our own list. Our own list… wow that is powerful. You choose who stays and who goes. Or basically who is left behind to tread water. I can think of many but can’t name names. See I have no real enemies. I have people I do not care for but do not know their names. Well, some I certainly know who they are supposed to be. Or claim to be. Top of the list would be Osama Bin Laden. No that person with that name never did anything to me or my own. Just thru news reports and TV Coverage he is deemed a not so good person. So yes I can name one. Others now I could not name. We all have those list’s, you know the parking place stealer. The one who took the last box of cereal in the grocery store. As long as we are in the store…how about the gabbers who block the lanes chattering like two birds fighting over a piece of bread but not allowing anyone or anything to come close. How about big business, oh yeah those who take from the pore to make them poorer, How about those people who stick those Blue Tooth Phones on their ears, No Blue Tooth Phones allowed! Wouldn’t you just like to Slap that thing off and say.. OH!!!!!!! I am sorry I thought it was a roach!… Wow my list grows…seems I am leaving more behind then I thought I even knew I would. How about those who do not think like me…Yeah those people…The ones who do not think my picture is worth a 10 and rate it lower then I wished them to rate it. The saying is beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To tell you the truth I never liked bees and often wondered why anyone would hold them in the first place and further more why that person was in charge of beauty. The Nay Sayers those that belittle…hmm sounds like a small bee to me…But my list grows so large now I am not sure who rides the ark, have I turned like those who I detest? I like to think of myself in a positive way. One who likes all says nice things to all and really lives and let lives. You know…………(big pause)….. Not like dog paws but silence that which is often referred to as…Golden… Since I have the power to control who sets foot on the ark I think I best rethink my plans for its size… It needs to be much bigger… I need to be much bigger… to forgive those who are not like me and really listen to their opinion, their ideas. Perhaps they are not far from mine after all… Perhaps my picture is not a 10… perhaps every picture I give a 10 to I am just fooling myself and those who I say are 10’s…Is it not nice to just want others to be happy? Even though you know they are really not a 10…heavens yes I know beauty from not so beautiful. But, why say it? Who made me judge, juror and executioner? I am not god. Just a man. Just a man who like others to smile…think highly of themselves even through adversity. It’s not wrong to wish others to be happy, is it? I think plans for the ark have changed…I need to allow all in who wish not to swim…Even though my wish is for others to feel the same way…I know they will not, but that’s ok… See it is not about me, it’s not about you. It’s about being a better person then those who mistreat you. Perhaps in their eyes they did not mean it as you thought they did. Honestly a 5 is better then a zero…
