Things only A Mom Would Know One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me. I was maybe 2 -1/2 years old and had just recovered from an accident. Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys. Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home. My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!' My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up. Then she says, (as only a mother would know... 'Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?'

That night was long, the night you left. and now you're gone and laid to rest. and the love you gave we put to test. All the while you knew best. Today we took you to the place you said all the while wishing that you were not dead. The sun was shining and we were quiet, we did our best for your eternal rest So long you hurt and suffered so you should have told us, we didn't know. You will be missed, sadly so, we really didn't want you to go. We want you here to laugh and play. But deep deep down we knew you couldn't stay. You will be missed and missed some more and thoughts of you make us miss you more. we miss your smile, your silly laugh if you were here with us, we'd make you laugh. You'd call us silly and smile a while. and laugh and joke and sing with style. We miss you mom.
