A little something I just wrote and wanted to share.
21 December 2007 Our Mother Earth
Today is a day I pray for love and peace.
A day I thank Mother Earth for what she has given.
A day where heaven and earth will meet.
It is the day of the winter solstace
The day our Mother Earth goes sleep.
Do not fret or do not cry.
For when she awakes all the spring birds fly.
All living things come to bare.
Flowers will push up and trees will blossom
As the sweet smells of spring fill the air.
It is a day to rejoice not to weep
Because today we honor Mother Earth as she sleeps.
