missing the ones that you love

today i sit here just thinking about a lot of things, people, and places, then i look at the date and realize once again another year has gone by and you look at what has happened in the years past, you count the years and the people that you love that have moved on to another plain, and just seem to forget that you exisit, as in the last 10 years loosing ones that i love and hold dear to my heart there were if i remember 7, starting with my neice, my mom, my dad, my great aunt and uncle, best friend, love of my life, and when you know that it is going to happen it still doesnt make things any easier.
Tomorrow will be the nine years since my mom passed on and even though we had our arguments and did not always agree on things but she was still mom and i love her so and do miss her, and earlier this month i went to the coast and got to have some time on the beach where or near where we laid her to rest and felt at peace for the first time in a long time. it is a beautiful thing when you can let go of the ugly things and remember the good things as my mother did not always do things that may have been right but she did what she needed to do sometimes we as children suffer at the things that our parents do but in the long run they think that they did it for the best of the children. i know that in my own experiences with my own children i have not always done things wright but i know i did my best with what i had and what i know that i did wrong was be their friend and not their parent which is what they needed but no matter what i feel that my children turned out good, thank you god for helping me during my rough times and i pray that you guide my children in their road to and through life
