Friday!!!!!!!!!!! Is here… thank the maker. Good Morning. How are you today? Windy, blustery winter cold day here in southwestern Michigan. Today is the interview day for the queen candidates in which they meet with all three judges on a one on one question and answer session. Mandy is nervous but wants to do well. Her walk thru last night I am told was good but she needs to slow down on her turns..what ever that is. She apparently received the loudest ovation from the Mr Coloma candidates when she was on stage. I just hope they are not installing false hope in her. I left her a father to daughter note on the counter. No not one of those dear Jane letters, not one of the Hey I found drugs in your dresser drawers and not the used condom wrapper in the pants pocket letter either. Thank god I never had to do those letters or better yet face to face conversations with any of the three girls. They hid all that well…just kidding, they are great gals. Bonnie did the talk…Nooooo I am pulling your leg. But, the letter was from my heart and mostly mentioned be yourself! Smile, and above all have fun! She does have that light up the room smile and a heart of gold to which I believe she gets that from her mother.. Not like this Black hearted pirate writing this. But, I said it in very few words..honestly I did. I know, I know I can write 500 words on the mating of hummingbirds and how hard…my god, think about it.. how the hell do they mate? They must fly 60 miles an hour… Heck if I had to run that fast to get….where was I? Oh the letter… So I said little be said it big… So all three Bell’s will be reunited tonight at some time. I pick the eldest up at South Bend around 4:30. She wants to go to the Coloma Basketball game against Lakeshore who is rated #2 in the state…Yeah…that will be fun watching then get ass-kicked for 90 minutes….But a sporting family we are with the exception of Bonnie the only sport she knows is knitting or sewing …. That really isn’t a sport is it…? Anyway I do not subject myself to her sitting through games with me anymore, something about Brett Farve throwing a homerun… yeah I mentioned to her wrong sport. She said that is Brett Farve? Yeah… you have the right guy…anyway we do not do sports together hell I can’t Bowl with her, Play Bean Bag with her or even cards because she said I am a PORE WINNER…hmmm I always thought the term was sore loser… anyway.. So the Bell girls will be out and about Friday Night and Mandy can’t be out too late do to the pageant tomorrow night. Jackie is already freaking out. This is not right that is not, Brenda Lane the local personality who is to be our MC for the contest,… how did Jackie put that.. Is a Diva! She kept contradicting Jackie script for her.. Saying shouldn’t this be like this, should I do this instead.. Oh save me…. A father is supposed to be silent and watch from a distance on things of this sort…Thank God my oldest Sports buddy is coming home today Jessica! Well Monday I will let you know the verdict and Hopefully she will not be too heart broken, she is putting way to much pressure on herself because mainly I believe following in Jackies footsteps and wants to be the 2007 Coloma Community Queen. As I have said many times…she is already a queen to me, and she never had to wear a crown to show me any different.
