What are you waiting for?

Greetings and Salutations, My Legions of Friends, Fellow "FuManiacs", and Loyal Subjects!!!!

Your friendly neighborhood "Lard of Dorkness" is back again to bring you the complete match results that took place during T.N.A. / Impact Wrestling's "Bound For Glory 2013" pay-per-view event, which originated from the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California, on Ocotber 20, 2013.  Although I usually focus on W.W.E.'s pay-per-view events, I would like to try something a little bit different this time around, just becuae I'm a wrestling fan at heart that not only limits himself to just the W.W.E.    Hopefully, you'll like this latest installment just as much .... if not more.

So without further ado, here's the rundown on "B.F.G. '13":

- In a pre-show match that was aired during a one-hour special on Spike TV, THE BRO-MANS (Jessie Godderz and Robbie E) defeated ERIC YOUNG and JOSEPH PARK, CHAVO GUERRERO, JR. and HERNANDEZ, and BAD INFLUENCE (Frank Kazarian and Christopher Daniels) in a Number One Contenders Tag Team Gauntlet Match .....

..... The Process of Elimination reads as follows:

.....  CHAVO GUERRERO, IR. and HERNANDEZ were eliminated when Christopher Daniels pinned Chavo with a Roll-Up .....

.....  BAD INFLUENCE was eliminated when Eric Young pinned Christopher Daniels after Joseph Part floored the "Fallen Angel" with the Fallaway Slam .....

.....  ERIC YOUNG and JOSEPH PARK were eliminated when Robbie E pinned Young following the Hart Attack Double Double-Team Spinebuster  .....

.....  With the victory, THE BRO-MANS earned the right to face reigning T.N.A. World Tag Team Champions JAMES STORM and GUNNER in a title match during the payl-per-view broadcast ....

- In Pay-Per-View Bouts:  .....

CHRIS SABIN defeated MANIK, AUSTIN ARIES, JEFF HARDY and (Representing the MAIN EVENT MAFIA) SAMOA JOE in the Five-Man Ultimate X Match to become the NEW T.N.A. X-Division Champion .....

THE BRO-MANS (Jessie Godderz and Robbie E) defeated JAMES STORM and GUNNER to become the NEW T.N.A. World Tag Team Champions when Robbie E pinned Storm following the Hart Attack Double-Team Spinebuster  .....

GAIL KIM defeated O.D.B. and (Representing ACES AND EIGHTS) BROOKE TESSMACHER in a Three-Way Dance to become the NEW T.N.A. Knockout Women's Champion when Kim pinned Tessmnacher after LEI'D TAPA intervened and floored Brooke with a Power Bomb back into the ring .....

BOBBY ROODE (Representing the EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN'S ORGANIZATION) defeated KURT ANGLE (Representing the MAIN EVENT MAFIA) when the "It Factor" pinned the Olympic Gold Medalist moments after both competitors were laid out with a Super Angle Slam from off the top rope .....

ETHAN CARTER III (formerly DERRICK BATEMAN in W.W.E. / N.X.T.) defeated NORV FURNUM when the "Privileged One" pinned the local indy competitor following the D.D.T.  .....

BRUTUS MANGUS defeated T.N.A. Hall of Fame Icon STING by Submission in a battle between the two MAIN EVENT MAFIA members when the "Future" forced the "Stinger" to tap out to the King's Lyn Cloverleaf .....

And in the Main Event, A. J. STYLES defeated ACES AND EIGHTS President BULLY RAY (with Brooke Tessmacher) to become the NEW T.N.A. World Heavyweight Champion when the "Phenomenal One" pinned the "Hellraiser from Hell's Kitchen" following the Corkscrew Spiral Tap from off the top rope.

While there's no denying the top-level talent T.N.A. has in its roster (and although, I must admit Bound For Glory was a great pay-per-view show in its own right), I have to wonder if this is T.N.A.'s last stand as far as producing future pay-per-views is concerned.  With recent talent cuts and personnel departures that have been dropping left and right at an alarming rate, even the most die-hard T.N.A. fan has to be concerned about which direction the company is going to take, as we look ahead to 2014.   The recent announcement that the promotion is planning on moving back to The Impact Zone at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, is a huge step backward, resulting in low morale amongst the competitors in the locker room.  Will this hurt or harm T.N.A.'s chances of survivial in the future?   I don't mean to sound like a pessimist, but all points seem to be heading for the latter, no matter what T.N.A. President DIXIE CARTER says or does to try convincing herself, the T.N.A. Nation, the Superstars and Knockouts in the locker room, the high-ranking executives at Spike TV, or even T.N.A.'s parent company, Panda Energy otherwise.

And speaking with Dixie, what's the deal with this newfound arrogant, obnoxious attitude and surly behavior?   I may be sounding way off the mark here, but it seems Ms. Carter is on "Desperate Housewives" mode in what I believe is a fool-hearted attempt on her part to try hanging on for dear life, while alienating Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, T.N.A. founders Jerry and Jeff Jarrett, and even took a cheap shot at W.W.E. C.O.O. Triple-H as well.  And to add insult to injury, Dixie recently removed A. J. Styles' name and profile from T.N.A.'s official website and declared the T.N.A. World title vacant.   And while it could be all part of a storyline to try and attract more viewers and fans to watch T.N.A. programming, one has to wonder whether the angle is a whole lot closer to reality than even Dixie herself is leading everyone to believe.  These are desperate time for the T.N.A. Nation right now, and until things don't change for the better soon, T.N.A. will R.I.P. sometime between now and sometime at around this time next year .... if not sooner.

Well, my loyal subjects, that's about it for me right now.  Hope to hear from you again someday soon.

C-U Later and Enjoy the Mat Mayhem.

Peace!!!!!

Greetings and Salutations, my Loving Family, Friends, Starve-Crazed "FuManiacs" and Loyal Subjects!!!!!

Your friendly neighbordhood "Lard of Dorkness" is back again with a recap from this past Sunday night's Hell In A Cell pay-per-view event, which originated from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida:

- In a pre-show match that was aired prior to the pay-per-view broadcast, DAMIEN SANDOW defeated KOFI KINGSTON when the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" pinned the "Wildcat" following the "You're Welcome" Full Nelson Slam .....

- In pay per view bouts, .....

W.W.E. Tag Team Champions CODY RHODES and GOLDUST defeated SETH ROLLINS and ROMAN REIGNS (Representing THE SHIELD) and THE USOS (Jimmy and Jey) in a Triple Treat Match to retain the titles when Cody pinned Rollins following the Cross Rhodes .....

FANDANGO and SUMMER RAE defeated THE GREAT KHALI and NATALYA NEIDHART (with Hornswoggle) in a Mixed Tag Team Match when Summer pinned Natalya with a School-Girl Roll-Up .....

BIG E. LANGSTON defeated United States Champion DEAN AMBROSE (Representing THE SHIELD) by Count-Out ..... However, since championships in the W.W.E. can only change hands by either pinfall of submission, Ambrose retains the U.S. title .....

C. M. PUNK defeated RYBACK and PAUL HEYMAN in a 2-on-1 Hell In A Cell Handicap Match when the "Straight Edge Superstar" pinned Ryback following the G.T.S. - Go To Sleep .....

LOS MATADORES (Fernando and Diego, with El Toritio in their corner) defeated THE REAL AMERICANS (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro, with former wrestling great Zeb Colter in their corner) when Fernando (or was it Diego?  I'm still not sure!) pinned Swagger following the Double Bulldog Suplex .....

JOHN CENA defeated ALBERTO DEL RIO to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion when the "Chain Gang Commander" pinned the "Essence of Excellence" following the Attitude Adjustment .....

Divas Champion A. J. LEE (with Tamina Snuka) defeated BRIE BELLA (with Nikki Bella) by Submission to retain the title when A. J. forced Brie to tap out to the Black Widow .....

And in the Main Event, RANDY ORTON defeated DANIEL BRYAN in the Hell In A Cell Match to win the vacant W.W.E. Championship when the "Apex Predator" pinned the "American Dragon" after Special Guest Referee and W.W.E. Hall of Fame Legend SHAWN MICHAELS floored Bryan with Sweet Chin Music.

As thrilled as I was to find out that C. M. Punk finally exacted sweet revenge on Paul Heyman after the "Second City Saint's" victory over Ryback in the H.I.A.C. Handicap Match, it's the main event H.I.A.C. bout between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan that will be tha talk of the entire professional wrestling community (both in print and on the Internet) for many months (and probably years!) to come, especially when you consider how Shawn Michaels played a major role in the outcome of the championship fight.   Sure, the "Heartbreak Kid" said he only leveled Bryan with Sweet Chin Music because he was defending his best friend and W.W.E. C.O.O. Triple-H in the closing moments of the contest, one has to wonder if Shawn sincere in his explanation the following night on "Raw", or was it all part of an elaborate "Master Plan" created by the former D-X mates to make sure Orton leaves Miami, Florida, as the W.W.E. Champion.   While we may never know what really happened the way it did, one thing we know for sure, though; between now and WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Randy Orton will rule the roost as the "Top Guy" on the W.W.E. food chain and the face of the company .... until "Trips" and Stephanie McMahon decide to ditch the "Viper" for another top-level competitor (can you say Brock Lesnar?) that's even more ruthless and violent than the third-generation Superstar.   While anything can happen between now and the "Show of Shows" a few months from now, we'll see how Orton's title reign plays out as he's scheduled to defend the W.W.E. title against C. M. Punk (POSSIBLE Spoiler Alert!) in the main event at next month's Survivor Series pay-per-view broadcast.

Well, my loyal subjects, that's about it for me right now.  Hope to see you again next time.   For now, though, keep thinking of good thoughts and pleasant dreams in your heart.

C-U Later and Enjoy the Mat Mayhem.

Peace!!!!

Greetings and salutations to one and all!

You're friendly neighborhood "Lard of Dorkness" is here again to bring you the complete match results from this past Sunday night's Battleground 2013 pay-per-view event, originating from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York:

- In a pre-show kickoff match that was aired prior to the pay-per-view broadcast, DOLPH ZIGGLER defeated DAMIEN SANDOW when the "Showoff" pinned the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" following the Zig-Zag.

- In Pay-Per-View Bouts:

..... World Heavyweight Champion ALBERTO DEL RIO defeated ROB VAN DAM (with Ricardo Rodriguez) by Submission in a Hardcore Rules Match to retain the title when "Mexico's Greatest Import" forced the "Whole F'N Show" to tap out to the Cross Armbreaker, with R.V.D.'s arm sandwiched between steel chair .....

..... THE REAL AMERICANS (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro [with Zeb Colter]) defeated SANTINO MARELLA and THE GREAT KHALI (with Hornswoggle) when Cesaro pinned Khali following the Giant Swing .....

..... Intercontinental Champion CURTIS AXEL (with Paul Heyman) defeated RON "R-TRUTH" KILLINGS to retain the title when the third-generation Superstar pinned the "Sun-Tanned Superman" following the Hangman Facebuster .....

..... Divas Champion A. J. LEE (with Tamina Snuka) defeated BRIE BELLA (with Nikki Bella) to retain the title when she pinned Brie with a Roll-Up after Tamina distracted Brie .....

..... CODY RHODES and GOLDUST (with W.W.E. Hall of Fame Legend Dusty Rhodes) defeated W.W.E. Tag Team Champions SETH ROLLINS and ROMAN REIGNS (with United Statec Champion and fellow SHIELD member Dean Ambrose) in a non-title match when Cody pinned Rollins following the Cross Rhodes.   ..... As a result, not only are the Rhodes Brothers reistated as active members of the W.W.E. main talent roster, but also Dusty keeps his job as an N.X.T. trainer at the W.W.E. Performance Center in Orlando, Florida .....

..... BRAY WYATT (with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) defeated KOFI KINGSTON when the "Eater of Words" pinned the "Wildcat" following the Sister Abigail / Spinning DDT .....

..... C. M. PUNK defeated RYBACK (with Paul Heyman) when the "Straight Edge Superstar" pinned the "Human Wrecking Ball" after Punk floored Ryback with a Low Blow .....

..... And in the Main Event, DANIEL BRYAN fought RANDY ORTON to a No-Contest for the vacant W.W.E. Championship when THE BIG SHOW intervened and knocked out both competitors, as well as referee SCOTT ARMSTRONG, with the W.M.D. Knockout Punch.

While there's no doubt the W.W.E. Superstars and Divas always go above and beyond the call of duty to give the fans and pay-per-view television audience an awesome show, there were two stand-out moments that actually helped saved the event from becoming a complete bust:  1)  Antonio Cesaro displaying unbelievable and uncanny super-human strength to lift the 7-foot, 4-inch, 430-pound Great Khali (a former World Heavyweight Champion, mind you!) for the Giant Swing ..... and 2) Cody Rhodes and Goldust winning the biggest and most important match of their lives, defeating W.W.E. Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to not only win back their jobs as active W.W.E. Superstars, but also Dusty keeps his job as an N.X.T. trainer in Orlando, Florida.

Aside from those two Highlight Reel-inspired moments, the real downer was when the Daniel Bryan-versus-Randy Orton match for the vacant W.W.E. title ended with a disatisfying finish when The Big Show knocked out both championship contenders and referee Scott Armstrong, much to the ire of W.W.E. C.O.O. Triple-H, Creative Affairs E.V.P. Stephanie McMahon, and "Raw" General Manager Brad Maddox.

Although Stephanie got the last word the following night on "Raw" when she insulted, embarrassed, humiliated, and fired the "World's Largest Athlete" at the start of the three-hour broadcast, it was Show who finally got the last laugh later on when he not only successfully fended off an attack from The Shield, but also knock "The Game's" lights out with the W.M.D., with a smile on his face and a huge weight off his shoulders after having been humbled by "The New Corporate Regime" for the last couple of months.   And with Hell In A Cell coming up on October 27 in Miami, Florida, there's no telling when or where The Big Show may strike or who will join the "W.L.A." in  what could be a band of rebellious W.W.E. Superstars and Divas who are mad as hell and won't take anymore corporate hogwash than they reall need to.   We shell see what happens next over the next few weeks.

Well, my loyal subjects, that's about it for me right now.   Hope to chat with you again very soon.  For now, though, keep thinking of good thoughts and pleasant dreams in your heart.

C-U Later and Enjoy the Mat Mayhem.

Peace!!!!!

Greeting, Loyal Subjects!!!!

How are you all doing today?  I hope things are going great for you, your family and friends, and devoted "FuManiacs" so far this week, and just thought I stop by and bring you the results from this past Sunday night's "Night of Champions 2013" pay-per-view event, which originated from the legendary Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan:

- In a pre-show kickoff match that was aired prior to the pay-per-view broadcast, THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS (Titus O'Neill and Darren Young) defeated THE USOS (Jimmy and Jey), TONS OF FUNK ("Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay and "Sweet T" Tensai), THE REAL AMERICANS (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro), and 3MB member HEATH SLATER and DREW McINTYRE (with Jinder Mahal) in a Tag Team Turmoil Number One Conternders' Match ....

..... The process of elimination reads as follows:

3MB was eliminated when Tensai pinned Slater with a School Boy Roll-Up .....

TONS OF FUNK was eliminated when Swagger forced Clay to submit to the Patriot Lock .....

THE USOS were eliminated when Swagger forced Jimmy (or was it Jey?) to tap out to the Patriot Lock .....

THE REAL AMERICANS were eliminated when Young pinned Swagger following the Gut Buster .....

..... With the victory O'Neill and Young earned the right to face reigning W.W.E. Tag Team Champions SETH ROLLINS and ROMAN REIGNS in a title match later in the pay-per-view broadcast.

- In pay-per-view bouts: .....

Intercontinental Champion CURTIS AXEL (with Paul Heyman) defeated KOFI KINGSTON to retain the title when the third-generation Superstar pinned the "Dread-Locked Dynamo" following the Hangman Facebuster .....

Divas Champion A. J. LEE defeated BRIE BELLA, NAOMI, and NATALYA NEIDHART by Submission to retain the title when A. J. forced Natalya to tap out to the Black Widow .....

ROB VAN DAM (with Ricardo Rodriguez) defeated World Heavyweight Champion ALBERTO DEL RIO by Disqualification when the "Mexican Aristocrat" refused to release the Cross Armbreaker submission maneuver at the referee's count of five after R.V.D. grabbed the ropes .... However, since championships in the W.W.E. can only change hands by either pinfall or submission, Del Rio retains the World Heavyweight Championship .....

THE MIZ defefated FANDANGO (with Summer Rae) by Submission when the "Awesome One" forced the "Dancing Dynamo" to tap out to the Figure Four Leg-Lock .....

Intercontinental Champion CURTIS AXEL and PAUL HEYMAN defeated C. M. PUNK in a No-Disqualification Handicap Elimination Match .....

.... The process of elimination reads as follows: .....

.... CURTIS AXEL was eliminated by Submission when Punk forced the third-generation Superstar to tap out to the Anaconda Vise .....

.... PAUL HEYMAN pinned Punk after RYBACK interfered and sent the "Straight Edge Superstar" crashing through a propped-up table with a Spear .....

United States Champion DEAN AMBROSE (Representing THE SHIELD) defeated DOLPH ZIGGLER to retain the title when he pinned the "Showoff" following a Bulldog Driver ....

W.W.E. Tag Team Champions SETH ROLLINS and ROMAN REIGNS (Representing THE SHIELD) defeated THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS (Titus O'Neill and Darren Young) to retain the title when Rollins pinned O'Neill after Reigns floored the "Real Deal" with a Spear ....

And in the Main Event, DANIEL BRYAN defeated RANDY ORTON to become the NEW W.W.E. Champion when the "American Dragon" pinned the "Apex Predator" following a Running Knee Strike to the face.

Sadly and unfortunately for Bryan and the W.W.E. Universe, however, the title victory was short-lived the following night on "Raw". when W.W.E. C.O.O. TRIPLE-H stripped him of the championship, but also relieved referee SCOTT ARMSTRONG of his duties as well,.  As a result the main event at W.W.E. next pay-per-view event, "BATTLEGROUND 2013" will be a rematch between Bryan and Orton, with the winner be leave the First Niagra Center in Buffalo, New York, as the new and UNDISPUTED W.W.E. Champion.

Well, that's about it for me right now, my friends.  Hope to blog at 'cha again soon.

C-U Later and Enjoy the Mat Mayhem.

Peace!!!!!       :D

SummerSlam 2013 Recap

Greetings and Salutations, Loyal Subjects!!!!

How are you all doing so far this week?   I hope all of you had a happy, safe and enjoyable SummerSlam Weekend, and just thought I stop by and let you know about the match results that took place during this past Sunday night's SummerSlam pay-per-view event, originating from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California:

- In a pre-show match that was aired prior to the pay-per-view broadcast, ROB VAN DAM defeated United States Champion DEAN AMBROSE (Representing THE SHIELD) by Disqualification when ROMAN REIGNS interfered and floored the "Whole F ' N Show" with a Spear.   However, since champioships in the W.W.E. can only change hands on a pinfall or submission, Ambrose retains the U.S. title. .....

In Pay-Per-View Bouts:

- BRAY WYATT beat KANE in a Ring of Fire Match when he pinned the "Big Red Machine" following a Spinning DDT after Wyatt Family members LUKE HARPER and ERICK ROWAN interfered and destroyed Kane. .....

- CODY RHODES defeated DAMIEN SANDOW when the second-generation Superstar pinned the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" following the Cross Rhodes. .....

- World Heavyweight Champion ALBERTO DEL RIO defeated CHRISTIAN by Submission to retain the title when the "Essence of Excellence" forced "Captain Charisma" to tap out to the Cross Armbreaker. .....

- NATALYA NEIDHART (with "Funkadactyls" Naomi and Cameron) defeated BRIE BELLA (with Nikki Bella and Eva Marie) be Submission when the third-generation Diva forced Brie to tap out to the Sharpshooter .....

- BROCK LESNAR (with Paul Heyman) defeated C. M. PUNK in a No-Disqualification Match when the "Ultimate Fighting Machine"pinned the "Straight Edge Superstar" following an F-5 onto the steel chair. .....

- DOLPH ZIGGLER and KAITLYN defeated BIG E. LANGSTON and Divas Champion A. J. LEE in a Mixed Tag Team Match when Ziggler pinned Langston following the Zig-Zag. .....

- In the main event, DANIEL BRYAN defeated JOHN CENA to become the NEW W.W.E. Champion when the "American Dragon" pinned the "Chain Gang Commander" following a Running Knee Strike to the face.   (W.W.E. Chief of Operations Officer and 13-time former World Champion TRIPLE-H was the Special Guest Referee). .....

- And in a Surprise Bonus Bout, RANDY ORTON "cashed in" his Money In The Bank briefcase to defeat DANIEL BRYAN and become the NEW W.W.E. Champion when the "Apex Predator" pinned the "American Dragon" after Special Guest Referee TRIPLE-H floored Bryan with the Pedigree.

And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen.   For better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness and in health, and until Cheeseburgers rule the world, those were your match results from SummerSlam.   And although I must admit, the closing moments of the contest was a little too predictable for even THIS die-hard wrestling fan's own anything-but-good, I have to say the pay-per-view was one of the best I've seen in the W.W.E. so far this year.  And with the Night of Champions coming up next month, I'm sure Mr. McMahon and his newly-formed Corporate Evolution franchise will continue making life miserable for the likes of Daniel Bryan, C. M. Punk, Dolph Ziggler, The Big Show, and just about every other Superstar and Diva all throughout the W.W.E. Universe over the next few weeks.  After all, like Stephanie McMahon once told Divas Champion A. J. Lee, "Nobody does crazy like the McMahons".   A definitive and stern warning to all those that oppose the newly-formed reign of terror that awaits us all in the W.W.E.

Well, my loyal subjects, that's about it for me right now.  Hope to hear from you again soon.  For now, though, keep thinking of good thoughts and pleasant dreams in your heart.

C-U Later and Enjoy the Mat Mayhem.

The Debut / Pilot Blog

Greetings friends, Romans, and devoted fans of the FuNation:

Welcome to my first installment of the Royal Degree, where I'll give you my take on all the goings-on in this world-gone-haywire, as well as whatever whimsical nonsense that may come to my wicked, wicked mind at any given moment.

For starters, I am not looking forward to filing my federal and state income tax forms at the nearby H & R Block tax office this year.  When I filed my taxes last year, I only received 64 buck from my federal returns, while I owed the state somewhere between 300 and 500 bucks.  It was as disheartening as it was disappointing, I don't mind telling you.   And while I'm hoping things will get a little better when I plan to file my this year's taxes either sometime this weekend or the early part of next week, I'm afraid I might end up owing Uncle Sam more money in state and / or federal taxes.  I may be sound like I'm too paranoid for my own good, but I must be strong and deal with whatever hand the tax preparer hands me, regardless of the outcome.  We'll see how this one turns out over the next few days.

On a lighter note, W.W.E.'s Royal Rumble 2012 comes your way THIS Sunday night, beginning at 8:00 Eastern, 5:00 Pacific, live and only on pay-per-view from the Scottstrade Center in St, Louis, Missouri.  On the card, John Cena grapples with Kane.... Daniel Bryan defends the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Steel Cage Match agains The Big Show and Mark Henry.... C. M. Punk defends the W.W.E. Championship in a rematch against Dolph Ziggler, with "Raw's" Interim General Manager and W.W.E.'s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, John "Ace" Laurinaitis, as the Special Guest Referee.... and in the Main Event, it's the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, as 30 of your favorite W.W.E. Superstars will do battle in an anything-goes, over-the-top-rope battle royal, with the winner to earn the right to compete in a high-profile (W.H.C. or W.W.E.) championship match at WrestleMania 28.  Who will rise to occasion and emerge victorious?  Who will be dealt with a crushing defeat?  And who will go the distance in the Rumble and earn himself a chance to make wrestling history on the "Show of Shows"?  We'll find out this Sunday night in St. Louis.... Michael Cole or no Michael Cole!!!!

Searching for steady, full-time work in the job market sucks these days.  Nothing personal against working two part-time jobs to try making ends meet, but let's face it, one can only go so far in earning pocket change each week.  Hell, it would be great if I were to land myself an entry level, full-time position as a  Basic Internet Surfer, where I can hide in my office and have loads of fun surfing the Internet for hours.  If you think about it, folks, it only makes perfect sense to get paid very well for doing what you love and love what you do, considering how difficult it is to try looking for work during these uncertain and troubling we're all experiencing nowadays.  Trouble is, employers don't seem to take these issues seriously enough to give each of us a chance to earn our keep and contribute to a company's continuous growth and success.  I've been on this seemingly continous treadmill for almost 6 1/2 years now, and it's getting where I might have to end up kissing some young, sexy hottie's butt to land myself the job I actually like and care about.... even if it means spending six to eight hours per day surfing the Internet.  It's as frustrtating as it it discouraging, folks, believe me.

And finally, I'm hoping I won't receive an invitiation to attend my 30-year high school reunion later this year.  I don't mean to sound like a resident "Voice of Doom", but there's a part of me that wishes I had never graduated from high school, considering what I know now what I should've known then in the "Real World".  Add to the fact that there may be some bad blood that still remain among my fellow graduates, and you the makings of a grudge match waiting to happen at any and every given moment imaginable.  And to add insult to injury, I'm afraid I might end up meeting my high school prom date, who may still have a long-standing grudge against me after all these years, even though she could have done so much better than having to deal with the likes of me during an otherwise festive and memorable Junior-Senior Prom.  Let's face it, people, I was no Prince Charming back then, and I'm still not in that league today.  Am I sounding a little too childish in my reasoning?  Perhaps so, but the bottom line is my fellow graduates deserve so much better than having to deal with me during any occasion, let alone the high school reunion, and only time will tell when (and if ever) I'll be able to overcome my fears to attend this year's reunion.... and many more reunions to come.  For now, though, I'll stick with cheeseburger wishes and cherry-cola dreams, and hope for better days ahead in and out of the job market.  And who knows?  Maybe I'll be lucky and win a million bucks a year for life in the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes later next month.  We'll see what happens.

Well, my loyal hell-raisers, that's about it for me right now.  Hope to chat with you again soon.  In the meantime, keep thinking of good thoughts and pleasant dreams in your heart.

C-U Later and Enjoy the Mat Mayhem.

Best Regards,

Lord Scumbag.
