Last night I held the hand of a dying cancer patient and listen to all he had to say. He told me he had had cancer for 10 years and he had been give 6 months when diagnosed, he said positive thinking was the key to a good long life.
This is what he told me.
Everyday is a new start, its a clean slate that hasn't been written on yet, and you can choose to fill it with joy and happiness or anger and sadness. Choose to fill it with joy and happiness and you will live a long, healthy, happy and meaningful life full of love. If you choose to fill it with anger and sadness your life will be short, empty and meaningless. You will never be happy and that will kill you in the end.

He died not long after, but his words will live on in me forever, I will never forget him for as long as I live. I realized how right this man was, and I want to be like him, learning to live a positive life. My slate will be filled with joy and happiness from now on!
