Was the New Year when her heart broke, Was a cold winter when he lied, was morning when she realised, was evening when she died. The love that she had wanted was the one she could not keep. By day she couldn't stand it, by night she could not sleep. He told her that he loved her, then turned and threw it all away. Her foolish heart had broken, with words not meant to say. She lay there in the darkness seeking shelter from this world. And there she died of heartache that broken little girl.

Can memories be forgotton? Like forgetting a set of keys? Can memories be so frightening they can bring you to your knees? Is life so cruel,it helps you to forget then floods you with the past,when your life is set. When you feel safe, memories rush right back When they know you are strong, They Attack!! Memories of the past haunt me through the day memories of the past just won't go away memories fill my sleep,memories make me weep memories of the pain. They sneak up on you when you least expect it Taking on a life of there own Churning out some hidden horror that you'd rather have left unknown whose to say what is wrong or what is right Who can say what should be revieled Memories can be so unkind

Gentle kisses Whispering tears Listen closely To what the heart hears All the joys Worries, and fears Panic sets in As the end nears Never so much agony Displayed throughout the years.
