I am a Biker
By: Deborah A. Boyd
I start my day as anyone would
Coffee, soda and breakfast if I could
I go to work and slave all day
To feed my family in every way
So what make me so different as it would seem
It my lifestyle so it means
In my free time I do what I can
To help my community
For which it stands
I donate myself
With benefits and such
And enjoy my life with so much gust
What makes me different as so its been told
Its what I ride even when its cold
It has two wheels, and can change with the wind
Its custom or stock with tires and rims
I wear a leather vest a helmet too
I may look a little ragged or even GQ
Upon my back there may be cut
Or nothing at all independent as such
For I am a biker as normal as you
Who works all day and has family too
So do not fear me for what I am
I’m just a biker with every day plans
