"How we feel"
These feelings are real,
we both feel,
like we've been deceived,
like we gave everything but we never received,
anything on our investment,
looks like we both have been bested,
we both have been tested,
and now that we have reflected,
our pain doesnt equal what we have been left with,
how the hell could we have guessed it,
every aspect of our lives was affected,
and now with our hearts left unprotected,
we can finally confess it.
