How do I use video chat?

fubar allows you to video chat one on one with users or play fulette which randomly pairs you with other fulette players. You can opt in or out of the game by clicking on the “fulette” button on the video chat window.

Video Chat Set up

1. Connect your webcam to your computer.

2. Make sure your webcam privacy settings are turned on. http://www.fubar.com/profile.php?tab=privacy.

3. Go to your homepage and click on the “Launch Web Control” link and the video chat window should pop up with your webcam controls. You will be prompted to approve your webcam connection. Once you approve, you should see your webcam activate.

4. If you wish to video chat one on one with a user, make sure they have their webcam connected and privacy settings correct. Also, make sure you both have opted out of fulette. Go to their fubar page and look for the “Video Chat” link below their profile photo. Clicking this link will initiate your video chat session.

5. If you want to play fulette, click on the “fulette” button and you will be randomly connected with other users playing fulette. You will see a rating bar and a “next” button. You can rate the user and/or hit “next” and fulette will queue you up with another user.

Tips:
-Make sure your connection speed will support video chat. Slow connections may lag or stutter.
-If you see someone abusing fulette, please report their user ID to a bouncer.
-Make sure you double check your privacy settings to ensure you have allowed your webcam to be viewed.
-Make sure all the cables to your webcam are secure and plugged in.
-Turn on your speakers and mic if you want to allow audio or plug in a headset or microphone.

Make sure if you catch someone doing something odd or fun make sure to screenshot it.

Now there really is no excuse anymore for the fakes and they should be treated accordingly.

I'm tired of people telling me all kinds of things to "look into" with no proof (aka screenshots) so if you're going to accuse someone of something, please, please make sure you can prove it. If you can't it's probably vendetta or drama.

The only vendettas I post here are mine usually.
