it's easy to get distracted, to lose our way
forget that others suffer the same way we do
and to let temptation try to distort our veiw
To your believes and yourself you must be true
to the ones ones you love and your words too
or the journey meant nothing when you're through.

In life so few things are cast in stone
the decisions we make are our own
except the ones for whom we care
for love seems to control us there
Still we may choose to go or to stay
we can risk it all or simply walk away
but can our long lives be for real
if love we never get to truly feel
if heart and mind say it's for you
have some faith and see it through
for we only have this one life to live
and this one heart is ours to give
happiness requires that risk we take
faith is needed to true love make
Take the time and guard your heart
but be open to love from the start.
happiness and love are joined as one
as our two heart have also done.
