So this has quite possibly been one of the worst months or so I have ever had in my life or at least close to it.
In the last 30 days I have had my A/C quit working (and I live in Arizona) It cost me a small forture to replace. I was hit on the freeway not once but twice, the day after I refinanced my house to pay the car off and purchase a new A/C and the person that caused the accident was an uninsured illegal alien. I will be without my car for at least the next 30 days. I was seeing a guy who ran from hot to cold in a heartbeat, but I finally cut ties and am trying to move on, but it has been breaking my heart.
All of that and my biggest problem right now is my 11 year old son. I am just beside myself as to how to handle him anymore. He is ADHD and we have dealt with that his entire school career (he is now in the 7th grade) He has been at a new school now for approximately 5 weeks. In this time he has ditched school 3 times. No matter what I say or do nothing seems to work. I have taken away all of his TV and computer privledges and am now in the process of boxing up everything he owns and leaving him with nothing but 4 walls, clothing and books. He is failing every subject in school except guitar. I don't believe in hitting and he just seems to think Mom is a huge pushover. I could just be talking to the wall and I would get the same response. I know I haven't given much detail but I don't want to post a bulletin that is as long as a novel. I would love to hear suggestions from anyone who has had similar problems. He is my only child so its still a learning process for me, I have nothing to compare to!
