So, I am in the midst of a real dilemma and I don't want to MuMM about it.  

 

I am trying to keep my mouth shut, but it's getting harder to do.  My son's fiancee's little girl just turned 3 and had her party Sunday.  She received and overwhelming amount of presents.    The only other children there was my 2 grandchildren.  Blake is also 3.  Khloe is 1.  Khloe and Parker are half sisters.

 

 I have noticed A LOT lately that her mommy is definitely playing favorites.  Parker's party was held at a civic center whereas Blake's and even Khloe's first birthday was held in their home.  Parker got twice as much stuff as both Blake and Khloe on their respective birthdays.

 

Parker refused to share any of the new toys with Blake or Khloe.  She went so far as to even take Blake's toy gun from him and scream that it was hers.  It was the only toy he had there.  He looked shocked and then asked "you just want to see it?"  After the party she refused to let Blake in the vehicle to go home.  He told her "that's ok Nana will take me home".  Once we arrived at my son's house she was screaming for a new baby doll stroller to be put together.  My son put it together and then she proceeded to ram it in to Blake and Khloe any time they got near it, all the while screaming "it's mine!".  

 

This behavior is getting worse.  My son corrects her more than her mommy does, but she doesn't listen.  You can put her in time out, etc and it never works.  2 minutes after leaving time out she is screaming or shoving one of the other kids.

 

I am to the point I want to jump in and say something.  Blake is sick.  He has cystic fibrosis.  Khloe is 1.  She's still wobbly when walking.  She's a baby for goodness sakes.  Parker doesn't need to be shoving, hitting, screaming at either child.  Blake and Khloe both share well with others.   

 

I am going to be watching the girls this evening for a couple of hours and I am seriously dreading it.  I do know one thing.  If she starts shoving and screaming at Khloe on my watch she is going to spend a majority of her time here in time out.

 

I am seriously afraid Khloe or Blake is going to end up hurt some day.

If you drink a lot spend 1 hour on the phone with my alcoholic brother.

 

THIS is why you shouldn't drink so much.

I honestly cannot believe the way kids act these days. The children in my neighborhood {which is a fairly nice neighborhood} are SOOO disrespectful. I come home to find them jumping off my sidewalk with their bikes, skateboards, and scooters. Mind you, my sidewalk leads from MY front door to MY driveway. The boy next door actually even told MY son to move his vehicle one day because "he was in his way". Flowers have been knocked over, candy wrappers and such left in the yard. This morning I look out to find 2 girls "hiding" around MY vehicle and running all over my yard. I have never seen anything like this. To actually go into people's yards and up to their front doors? Ummm even my son said he couldn't imagine going on to others' property when he was growing up in such a disrespectful manner. This lady is about fed up. That is all.

So I am sitting here looking around at all the work that needs to be done before I move in a few weeks. Boxes sitting empty and my joint hurts too bad to fill them. I have been trying to space my meds out more to see how much I can handle. Not alot. It starts hurting and I end up taking something. This sucks!!! /end rant
