A man all alone and scared
Not of what life has dealt him here
But feeling like a child
Seperated from family and friends
He has seen death within all
Even within him
Walking to a job interview
Feeling like a kid again
Life as he once knew it
Still living within him again
The idea of living in a cardboard box
The idea of hoping to eat later in the evening
Not knowing what life has to offer
His place is not secure only within him
Looking at the trees passing by
He begins to notice butterflies
Why when you are down
You begin to see the things that once were not around
Life passes so fast
You can see the wind blow the grass
Feeling that little kid inside
Is something that you cant hide
Feeling helpless and alone
You regress to what you have always known
Married or single
Men do cry
Men do feel scared
Men can even feel the blowing of their own hair
Men walk up right and strong
But with our backs against the wall
We all learn how to fall
Because we learned it from our childhoods when we were small
The worst can happen and make you cry
When your children are born
Even grown men cry
Think about the men in your life. Do they have jobs or unemployed? Have they lost in their lives? We all have a spot we learned so young. DO not give up on the men you love. We do have hearts! ;)
