A load of rubbish and needs no response or reading. Goodness, if you can imagine waking up after 18 years to find that you have been asleep for that time then you would probably find it a shock to the system.
So anyway having got over this shock I remarked about it only to be told that you go through phases like this. Well, I scratch my head and think, Hmmm. Yes indeed. It is normal to have been in a dream for 18 years and wake up again. Oh it is longer than that because I am not 20 but that is irrelevant. However, I have come to the conclusion that you either like pairing socks up or you don't and now two years on from being compos mentisly pairing them I can honestly say that I dislike socks and that is just the tip of the toe. Pah.
So, I was having a grot with my sister, something I do not do often because we rarely see each other and we rarely phone. Well, they suffer with poverty and we suffer with old age and poverty. No that is far from the truth but a state of mind of the bread winner at that given moment. Anyway, she said to me that everyone goes through this sort of phase, as mentioned before and so I try to explain the difference only to be shot down in flames again and told that she has to work, keep a daughter and do the housework, oh and she asked me if I was battered at all. Hmm. I am not and it seems that I have nothing to complain about then.
Ah well, I am sorry to have spoken and will keep my own council in future because this is the second time in two months that somebody has said this to me. Oh, make that three. Fortunately there are two people who have been through similar situations, not necessarily due to being asleep for ex many years but at least they are in the real World and can appreciate that phases come, go or pass and their phases have gone on for quite a while. What does that say, that some people are meant to suffer and if that is the case then no one should ever pass judgement on another person’s trivia/problem/disaster because one man’s sock drawer is another’s socket set.
Oh and another thing that has come to attention is that when you say something that someone else does not do or like then the subject gets nipped in the bud with, "Oh, I can't be doing with that," or "I don't have time for that because I spend all day on blah blah." Well, does that make me the odd one out? Probably but hey what is new. Sorry this does not make much sense but I feel better for it and now all I have to do is find out how fast it takes for wetpaint to dry and then it will be webs all the way. No, not cobwebs but the real McCoy, websites. Oh maybe that is just a phase everyone goes through, building a wonder-web to snare anyone silly enough to have an index finger and nosey mouse.
