As the day fades to night,
I dance beneath the full moons light.
As the stars begin their song,
I close my eyes and sing along.
From above the Goddess speaks,
“Listen children, if understanding is what you seek.”
“As the Maiden, I watched you through the eyes of a child.
So full of hope…so free and wild.
I watched as you ran freely with bare feet.
And danced with the wind, blowing free.
I watched as you grew, a little stronger each day.
I watched as you chased all your fears away.
I saw your first love, and felt your first blush.
I listened to you cry through the nights gentle hush.
I was there with you always, in your heart, in your soul.
I will be with you always, in your heart, in your soul.”
“As the Mother, I bore all your labor distress.
I felt, on the face of new life, your gentle caress.
I heard her first cry, and eased your fear.
I saw her first smile, and dried your tear.
As you watched her first steps, I was there in your smile.
I was there as you witnessed the growth of your child.
I am there with you always, in the shine of the moon.
I am there with you always, with every hum of every tune.”
“As the Crone, I brought you wisdom with age.
That which can not be found with the turn of a page.
To hope, to dream—To trust, to love.
I was there, looking on, in the eyes the dove.
I am here with you always, in the darkness of night.
I complete the cycle and guide you towards the light.”
“Maid, Mother and Crone—all bound, all One—
Yet separate as each role is done.
We will never leave you—We live inside—
Deep in your heart where nothing can hide.
Our gifts, We give freely, for you are our child.
We are the Lady: Wise, Pure and Mild!”
