My paranormal group took part in an investigation of a house in eastern Kentucky. Because the house is currently occupied, I can give no further details about it.
It started out boring. I was even able to chat with a couple of Fubarians while waiting for something to happen. One of the members of the group was a psychic medium who suggested a seance. The idea was agreed to reluctantly. I dont trust so called psychics or mediums. Theres been to many fradulent ones over time.
The seance supposidly revealed the prescence of a woman from about 200 years ago who had lived in the house. The report on her was she was a residual spirit in visitation because she had spent her happiest days living in the house (According to historical research a woman had died giving birth about the early 1800s).
After the seance I took it upon myself to do a solo watch in the master bedroom. I was armed with a digital recorder, a thermometer, and an EMF(electro magnetic field)detector. I was in the room no longer than 20 minutes when the temperature dropped from 63 degrees to about 52 degrees. Earlier i had scanned the room with the EMF detector and had a base reading of .01. While the temperature was going down, the EMF reading was rising, up to 3.0. Knowing that there was nothing in the room, neither lights or electrical devices, that could give off such a reading, i stood still hoping something paranormal was about to happen. I wasnt disappointed. As i was standing in the middle of the room, a cold spot developed behind me. Then it happened. I was PUSHED!!! I must repeat, I WAS ALONE in the room!!! It was a nasty or violent push, but a soft gentle push. The kind of push you give to someone to let them know you're there.
I've been doing this now for a couple of years. In that time, I have recorded paranormal images on video and digital camera and recorded EVP(electronic voice phenomona), but until last night had never had a personal experience such as this one. I dont remember much of the rest of the evening, my mind was focused too much on what had happened to me. Its something I'll never forget....
