Free My Heart
Just sitting here thinking about the refection of my life
I ask what I am missing in my life
Some would answer love would say attention
I wonder what it really is or may what is the purpose
I have to dig deep inside to figure what I desire most
The armor been my protection for so long
I have to find out where to start
My soul thrives to have someone to listen
Someone who can comfort me in my tough times
The value of knowing love still exist
The voice inside me which is tired of lies and the games
The thought knowing I can be genuinely happy with the one I love
The desire to know all are not the same
Someone to teach me something while I am in my prime
The prime which is making hard decisions and easy ones
The fact knowing I can free myself
The freedom from the hurt and pain I have endured
Freedom from triumphs in my life
The ability to be free and the to be woman I am
The ability to let the hurt in order to love again
So much have dawned upon me
The feeling of true love is given back in return
There is so much for one person
The kind someone can only take so much
Help me free my heart from the scars and hurt
In return make it to joy I hope to have for a lifetime
The notion of knowing my heart is free
there is no way of turning back from the time to experience
The shield once was present wont exist anymore
