What are you waiting for?

Ah well, a Fox Trot it is and thanks a bundle pal. With the badgers calling there are of course foxes, squirrels, birds. The latter brings cats and so it is that the cat has finally left its dog sized calling card, the fox decided to get Delhi Belly and visit here to pay his respects and fortunately apart from the birds there is no other pooper scooping required. I hate that, when I am hanging the washing out, whilst hanging on to the line for dear life because my hand-eye co-ordination are not good when I look up and I have to have one eye to the ground too, at the same time, in order not to trot in the fox drops. This morning then, in order not to keel over in this eye crossing pose I have to go and get the garden trowel after putting the washing basket on the wall whilst praying that a) it does not rain, b) the basket does not blow off the wall and c) I don’t go break dancing over on the muddy lawn.. It is at times like this when I love the frost because then it is easy to walk on the lawn and it is definitely Rock Solid fox drops which are easily despatched into a bag for disposal. In stead, however, the day has dawned warm and windy, the wind is from the South and the air is soft for the first time this year. Spring has definitely arrived and so it seems has the time of the soft fox trotting sessions whilst doing the Alpha, Beta, Foxtrot Tango in the interim, or something like that. The only consolation is that it is Saturday and I don’t have to cook tea because we are going out for an Indian meal and it is hoped that we will not suffer the same fate as the fox and have post curry Delhi Belly. Fat Belly will be fine, apart from the facts that, according to studies undertaken over a period of years it seems like having a fat belly can/does lead to Alzheimer's later on in life and not necessarily in late life; also it might look disgusting when you are wearing clothes that have become too small for you but at least it does not have to be stepped around, in a ginger manner. No that just takes a load of power walking to remove which requires little care in the performing thereof, that is except for the side steps undertake in order to avoid all the pot holes and wonky camber on the pavement If anyone watches me walking along the road they would think I was drunk the way I wheel and weave all over the place in order not to damage my already wonky knee and ankle. However, I don’t care. Neither, it seems, does the fox because not satisfied with my back garden he likes to make his mark on the walkway along side the same calling cards left by the horses and dogs. Crikey, I know we live in the country! All I can say is that for all the maligning they receive, the badgers and the squirrel have never defaced the garden with their defecations for which I am truly grateful. Therefore I would defend them to the end when I hear, Tree rats and TB carriers mentioned. This is going off track and certainly has not got the line dance finished. Oh, just to really make my day the sun has gone in so I need to rescue the washing basket and give up on the whole thing
