As you trudge down the roads,
know that you aren't 'alone'
though you fear , deep
inside, we are near,
right beside, ....
WHen you lay down your
heads, go to sleep
in your beds,
we are thinking of
you, and all the brave
things you do.....
As you write us some
words, that are
earnest in vain,
don't forget that we
read, and pray for
no pain....
If you think of us
doing , what ever
we do, ...
remember, we love you,
and that's always true....
While you read our
letters with strong
interest,
remember, take
care, and get
plenty of rest!
Upon working your
hardest, and with
others at best,
do what you must,
but, please come home
soon to us!
