Sharkfin's blog: "Chaos"

Good Morning. How are you today? I trust well. Ok last week was to be filled with good news and for the most part I tried to do a good job. I think… but, here we are in the last week of September and I am just itching to get this story out. We all have our own hot buttons right? I mean those little tidbits of orneriness that just is just hanging on inside us to be sprung out at any moment. Oh come on…it’s there. I mean how about hearing the Macarena one more time for you will that do it?...Just kidding. Well how about hearing a song miss sung? That might tweak the melon in some of us…mostly I cringe. But not so for a woman in Seattle, Washington in August, employees at the bar Changes, in Seattle, had to break up a karaoke-night attack by a woman on a man who was singing the Cold Play song "Yellow." The woman had shouted, "Oh, no, not that song. I can't stand that song." She charged the stage, screamed at the man and shoved him (and it eventually took four men to hold her for police). [Seattle Post-Intelligencer, 8-9-07] Wow…hopefully she doesn’t listen to my singing in the shower. Actually I am not a singer…but I do take showers…as Martha Stewart would say, “And that’s a Good Thing! “ Or here is one for you how many times does someone say your name incorrectly? Well I have never went off the deep end on that nor should anyone but! Apparently Megan Conroy doesn’t like her name Mispronounced. So much so she unloaded on a man. Here is that story: Megan Conroy, 18, pleaded guilty in Brisbane, Australia, in September, to assaulting a 40-year-old man in May (by kicking him in the testicles) because he had mispronounced her first name. (And if you ever meet her, it's "mee-gan," not "may-gun.") [The Age (Melbourne), 9-6-07] Wow! One may have to wear a cup around little Ms MeeeeGan… I checked the doors before I said that. And lastly there is a point to which being in a hurry and not paying attention to the situation is just an out right shame. More so then not disrespect for people in need. Here is my last additive to this Monday morning zoo. As a 27-year-old woman lay dying from a stab wound incurred at a Wichita, Kan., convenience store, in June, at least five customers stepped over her to enter the store, including one who stopped to photograph her on a cell phone camera. [Tampa Tribune-AP, 7-4-07] So if you are going to get stabbed, try not to do it in Wichita, Kansas. People have a lot going on and can’t be bothered by you bleeding and blocking their way to get their coffee and donuts… Have a marvelous Monday. You too Mee Gan ha ha ha!!! A huge Hug and many pats Mart
