Five days after that, in King's Lynn, England, a Streamline taxi minibus had to be pulled from the River Nar after the driver, who said he was obediently following the navigation system instructions, drove straight into the water. [Lynn News, 4-23-08]
I can only imagine both drivers no longer have valid operational permits for those bus companies.
Good Morning. You know I want to get one of those GPS thingy’s for Mandy when she plants her butt in Florida this June…but have a real problem with her driving off the skyway bridge…Just kidding I know she will use it well.
Hey this is a question that I have to ask, because I will give you my short comings on this next but very weird thing that most of us do and really do not think much about it at all, until someone calls you out on it… Ok first the question which has many answers so I will let you reply with a letter designating which of the following you apply to. B) Talk to Pets (dogs, Cats Birds, Fish)
C) Talk back to Radio’s
D) Talk back to TV Sets (Sporting events, Soap Operas, Movies)
E) Talk to myself while driving
F) Talk under your breath when you do not agree with someone but do not wish for them to hear.
G) Most of the above without incriminating thy self to which I do.
H) Some of the above but I am not saying which.
I) Only one but I am not proud of it…and am embarrassed to say.
J) None of the above, are you kidding?
Ok answer honestly, I find I will almost act like a sports announcer when my favorite team is playing and they make a bone headed play. The doggy and cat thing I think we all do, I mean you can ask a dog if he or she wants out, I think that applies to gaining knowledge before a mishap…But asking how they are doing and answering for them…that crosses the line…You are no Doctor Doolittle On plants I never knew why my mother talked to them…Like they were going to wave a limb or leave at her in approval. The radio…my gosh, I think again we all complain out loud when something the announcer says or DJ when listening by ourselves… Or how about that goofy driver that just cut you off? Hmmm? Think he or she can hear you? I mean they certainly can read sign language…I would safely say I fall under the G sign and you basically know which ones I do and do not…
So with that being said, welcome to Monday and may it be a wonderful day, also if anyone has room to allow someone in their heart this week I have a dear friend going for a very special surgical visit this week on Thursday. She is very modest and will certainly thump my melon a time or two for announcing her name but those who know me know I have a soft heart when it comes to dangerous ventures and I believe the back surgery she will undertake this week is about the most dangerous one does with that nerve…Please place Jean in your prayers and thoughts this week. She is a trooper and perhaps one of the nicest women I never met, but do truly call her a friend… Good Luck Jean…If I could do that surgery for you I would take you place.
