Hope everyone is happy the weekend is here. I know I am, that's for sure. Lotta drama and crazy goin on? Then again, what would Fu be without some kind of rukus huh?..Sorry I've been away and busy and all that, just how life goes sometimes...unlike -some- people here I actually have a job, cars, a house, and other things to address. So sadly, as much fun as it can be sometimes, Fubar takes a back seat to those things....I know there's people here that login here and are sooo into things that they have it on their phones, they have it rollin on their laptops, minimized at work, etc....some people just stay logged in all the time just, well, idk why they do that but it's their choices I guess....which kind of brings me to the point of this little ol posting...choices.

You know that last blog I posted with the story of the Scorpion & the Turtle? If you didn't get it, let me try and explain it to you in some sort of way it's understandable and applies to life be it on here or at the coffee shop down the street. The turtle represents the normal everyday, happy go lucky person. Always nice, moving at their own pace, trusting to a degree, giving people a chance despite the clearly obvious, helpful, etc. And on the other side of the river you have the scorpion. Now, I'm sure everyone knows what that scorpion is capable of. A vile predator, using its' stinger to zap, poison and kill it's prey. So the story goes as the turtle is begged and pleaded with using some "logical" means from the scorpion that it would "lose also" if it were to sting and kill the turtle, since it would then drown along with it. The turtle, despite the fact that this is a scorpion it is looking at and all, buys into this "logic" and agrees to let the scorpion "in" persay by agreeing to let it ride on his back across the river. All is well until midway across the river, the scorpion then winds up stinging the turtle in the back of the neck anyways despite its' own stated logic. When the turtle asks why the scorpion did it, the scorpion then replies "it's my nature."..

You see my friends clever predators, represented above by the scorpion. Will use whatever logic they can to sting their next prey. But the fact of the matter is, it is just the nature & instinct of that creature, no matter what they may say or do or how long it takes to achieve their goal, they will sting you. Apply that to life. Most of the problems people have and my god you see it so often, are that they don't see things for what they are even when they are right in front of their face. On Fubar, that takes the form of a player, user, the cheater, the ones with overly perverse tendencies, bling chasing chick, hypocryte or liar. In real life, you get the dude that doesn't work, drunk constantly, the gold digging chicks, the deadbeat dads, people who's stories just make -no- sense, etc. You know what I'm referring to. Yet even though these realities stare people right in the face constantly, people every day let those "scorpions" hop on their backs and start that treck across the river even though the end result, no matter how long it takes or how wide that river may be - always have the same, predictable ending.

Are you a turtle? How many scorpions do you have riding on your back right now? How many are you thinking of letting hop on for the ride even though no matter what twisted "logic" they are using to try and get on you, in just about any concievabe way you can think of? Do you see them for what they truly are by nature or are naive enough to think "it won't happen to me" or "sucks for those other people" that this -scorpion- has stung in the past in many different ways? If you think the latter, then it's just a matter of time before -your- neck is pierced by the stinger of that scorpion. After all, it is in its' nature & instinct and all despite whatever "logic" it may use or words it spews.

..you know this week I really haven't been around all that much do to be honest due to things stated in a previous blog. But when I have been around, what I do see from people is rather amusing. I see alot of actions by people, because they are the true nature of things, be it moving of a favorite bling, or any order thereof, who's buying what and trades with who, family adds (even though that is relative and can change at any second.) Order of tops (another biggie to people despite all those people who say "it doesn't matter," let's be real people, it matters otherwise people wouldn't act the way they do about it.) I see alot of scorpions on the rise in alot of places. Around me and those close to me even. But in reality should I have to take the turtle's little head, point it and go "look at that, it's dangerous and not good for you, it's a scorpion?" Nope, won't do it. People need to start seeing things and people for what they truly are on their own. I mean, it's obvious what those kind of people really are isn't it?....isn't it?....

..personally I have a little camp set up on the side of the river here. It may not be the most exciting camp, it may not have the most flashy colored spinning things on it all the time, it may not give you that -special- kind of attention that apparently -so- many require around here. But at least it's a safe camp and you know what to expect. And from what I know, that's alot better than any money can buy. You know I sit here sometimes at my camp and watch the river. I see all of the turtles. I see all the scorpions on this side just dying to get on someone. Some are fast, some take far, far longer than others. I see the turtles that buy into twisted logic , flashy things, attention given, and let them hop on for a ride. Those turtles never make it across the river. But then again, should they have seen what the scorpion really was in the first place?...their choice.

So do you let that scorpion on your back no matter what it says or does?....
