Q: HOW CAN SOMEONE MANAGE TO GENERATE 1581 REFERRALS YET SEND OUT 0 INVITES ? Q: HOW DOES SOMEONE DO THIS GARGANTUAN FEAT AFTER ONLY BECOMING A CHERRYTAP MEMBER 35 DAYS AGO ? Q: WHO IS SO CONVINCING A PROMOTER THAT HIS VICTORY WAS ACHIEVED WITHOUT A SINGLE ITEM OF STASH, ONLY 2 BLOG ENTRIES AND 12.5% OF HIS PHOTO SPACE USED ? Q: WHO THE F*** IS "BROCCOLI 'AWAY'" ANYWAY ? Q IS HE ENJOYING HIS BRAND NEW iPOD SHUFFLE WHILST HE IS AWAY ? Q: DOES ALL THIS SMELL LIKE BULLSHIT OR WHAT ?

WTF - BULLETINS AND TOP HOURLY PIX

I have a suggestion/request/plea with regards to 'BULLETINS' and 'TOP PHOTOS OVER LAST HOUR' sections of the site. Firstly, the 'TOP PHOTOS' is not a true reflection of whose pictures have been rated/commented on the most times, but just blatent favouritism and nothing more than a downright farce. The description in the FAQ section reads as follows:

"How do you determine the Top Photos?" "The Top Photos ranking is calculated based on the photos overall rating, the number of times it has been rated, and how often it is viewed"

Then, why are there a gamut of pix from someone who no-one has ever heard of, and below each pic it even states that views = 0. On the page I've linked below, only 3 from 20 had any viewings whatsoever ! So it begs the question "WTF"?

I propose that all the TPOLH should be legitimately viewed and the chart be a true reflection of user interaction. I also propose a 5 picture limit on any Cherry which would mean more CHERRYTAPS and less CHERRYTOPS. If you want to keep us interested you got to give us something to aim for and aspire to. Secondly, with the BULLETINS a similar situation constantly arises, with multiple bulletins by same person in rapid succession. For example within the last hour I counted 11 identical bulletins by same person which only generated 17 views and 0 comments. Now, I am not singling this Cheery out but they just provide an perfect example of how desperate and fanatical the bulletin posts can become. Is it any wonder that serious posts such as 'AMBER ALERTS' are going largely unnoticiced ? Unless the site imposes a 5 bulletin per hour limit or some kind of limitation, I fear the bulletin board will become less of an information repository and more like graffiti on the back of a toilet door.
