Well, i used to love polishing bling. Just seeing my friends pages having dirty bling and quickly giving them a wash so they looked nice was enjoyable. And occasionally trying for the 10,000 polishes in one day (which although  i was gutted to run out of polishes 4 away from getting that trophy it still didn't put me off polishing).

But look at this pic though, that's sad right? I was just 4 away and my fingers were killing me and i got so excited about almost doing 10,000 bling then the stupid run out of polishes thing pops up when i only had 4 more to go. :-(

Ok i dunno how to remove the thumbnail and don't care anyway.

Dunno how anyone can even manage to 50,000 of them coz my hands were wrecked just doing 5,000 a day. Did joke with people about getting my kids to do it for me in shifts but someone said that sounded like a punishment lmao. We tend to stick to sporcle for family time anyway because my daughter is fast at typing and loves doing those challenges, my youngest son loves playing the guess the computer game stuff, my middle other son loves the sports quizzes especially football and arsenal. Anyway i'll shut up about that now, i get distracted easily sorry. My middle son does like the arcade games on here, he's fairly good at the pool one.

Anyway, now i'm definitely all meh about polishing.
You have to polish specific bling to get any points. I've been polishing on average 3,000+ LE bling a day for weeks and i'm still nowhere near the 50,000 LE bling polish. Even when i'd got my 25,000 LE Bling award and they reset it for the 50,000 i was like 'i can do this' but now i cba.
I look at all the trophies, polish 1,000 mushtaches for 25 pts lol, think i've done about 28 of them. Polish red hearts for meh amount of points, same for all the exotics (which are mostly set to 'you don't have permission to polish' settings anyway)...for 3, 10, or 25 pts. Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Past couple of days i've been in pain and tired anyway so gave up polishing but i had stopped feeling enthusiastic about it a little before then. it's boring being forced to do things rather than do them for fun so hopefuly i get more points from just trading really cheap bling instead and can go back to enjoying myself on this site. I did give a few friends page bling a quick polish when i visited their pages, and i did enjoy that if i'm honest. :-)

Newbies watch out though, i'm coming to spam you for the free points bwa ha ha. if the bouncers don't get me first. I'm gonna do a blog about them for sure as they are invading things that don't need slowing downand just annoying in general and i'm pretty sure they're glitching and appearing when they don't need to.

Yeah got the trophy for polishing 25,000 LE bling recently. it has taken a while but at least i got that, Hoping to get the polish 50,000 but had to start again from the beginning on that as if i hadn't already polished 25,000, which sucks. Could've sworn there was a trophy for polishing 75,000 bling also but i can't find it now. I think it will take me less than a month to get both of those awards anyway the rate i'm going, although my hands hurt a fair bit lately so i might have to take a break from trying. Almost got the trophy for polishing 2,500 2012 bling also which i never thought i'd get that as there isn't that much 2012 25 credit bling knocking about that others aren't already polishing.
Finally got the Love Monster scrubber award too for polishing 69 of those. was a lot harder than i thought it would be becaue everyone is polihing those things.
Ok, blings i have that go towards trophies for polishing are;
Full set of cats still.
Good amunt of blooms, but not a full set.
25 Squirt squirts.
1 Pride that you can polish once (and need to find 4 others of).
Jesus raptor thing.
100+ normal bling towards those trophies.

Special thank you to everyone who has let me polish their bling. I'm very much enjoying myself doing that.

Ok. If you're here for tips mine is go looking for specific bling to polish the day after there is a points boost on polishing blings. You're actually more likely to find them then.

Still hoping to get a Love Monster at some point if i ever can, and going for the Cherry Bomb 116 albums bling as soon as it's extra points for using bombs. I'd love to collect some LE bling at some point if they ever have anything i find pretty in the bling shop.

I'm looking to trade a likeasaurus with someone, you go first unless i can see evidence that you trade bling or spend a lot of money on bling and then i'm happy to go first. Also would like to trade an 8  credit dragon queen with someone else when they are back in the shop. Will consider trading most low credit blings if they give high achievment points also. Almost got to polishing 20,000 LE blings. It's taken me over a month (6 or 7 weeks) to get this far but i'm lookng forward to getting the award eventually, maybe before the end of this month all going well. I'm not competing against anyone/anything except for my own hands ability to polish blings. I spend about 2 hours a day polishing blings to give you an idea of how long this award can take. I might go for the polish 75,000 bling also, and the polish 10,000 in 48 hours again but after i have leveled up (and so hopefully don't have a limit of less than 10,000 polishes).

Nowhere near got the 100 Cat box polish bling yet despite having my own cat boxes to polish. I leave them open to anyone and am not in a rush to polish them all the time and happy if others get an award polishing them.
I've been spending some time looking at other achievements needed on here to level up later and seen it will take some time (and money) to achieve them and so am not in a rush to do anything on here.
Only polished one set of the pirates boxe and weed boxes so far, don't think i've even managed any other box sets at all yet, be nice to polish more of these but again i don't really care to be in a rush to do this. I prioritise making this site an enjoyable experience and not a stressful one.

I have managed to polish almost 50 love monsters, whoo. Thought i'd never find any of these that weren't polished but i feellike i will get the polish 69 monster award soon.

I've also polished a few exotic bling, never thought i'd find any to do but i have done.

So, to summarise, i am still enjoying polishing blings. I am interested in the exotic blings but doubt i will spend money on those unless my finances improve, it's highly unlikely anyone would buy me one of these as they are expensive. As it is now i will likely just buy the likeasaurus bling and cherry bombs and try to win the bling you can get for when you do 116 albums (really hope i get some of those). Probably get some other power ups too for the points and to try them out.
I am going to bomb the people who have been nice enough to leave their bling open, as well as rtf (as usual) to people who have bombed or rekt me, and will be trying for the bomb newbies awards again. As i'm going to do the 8 cherry bombs in a row award i will probably have more than enough bombings left to help peoplelevel also. I'd still love to get a love monster or 3, just waiting for the opportunity to collect the bling you need to earn those.

I'm finding more blings i like on here, especially the sparkly ones or unusual ones. I like the cinema snacks ones, they're fun. The jewellery is pretty, wish i'd got the Fubar necklace as it;s sparkly and colourful but it's not for sale now. Bet it appears in the old bling they bring back section anyway.

Last time i said bookmark large amounts of normal bling you find for if you want to go for the achievements where you polish 10,000-50,000 blings in 48 hours. Well you could use these large amounts of bling to figure out the most comfortable way to polish blings also. For anyone who has tried to polish already you will have noticed a pop-up box appears when you hover over blings, this can get in the way of polishing so you may want to practice polishing so that you figure out how not to have this box keep popping up in the first place, or if it does pop up you have been fast enough to already be busy polishing blings far away from it.

Blings i have that you can get awards for polishing are 100 normal blings, cat boxes,three 25 credit blings (one of which is a jesusaurus for another award), and 3 squirt squirt.

Been doing that for a while too. It's my favourite thing to do on here when i want to switch off.
What i liked about it at first was just how relaxing it is to find a page with several hundred blings and polish your way through them all, tuning out while doing that. The longer you do it the more you notice though, like how some of the blings are really shiny and sparkly is the obvious one, some of them are quite funny or have rude names that are funny, some are really pretty, and the graphics on just about all of them are really good,  whoever makes them is doing a nice job of it. Surprised that people have the really expensive ones, like 100 or more credits, doubt i will ever have these but while other people are sharing theirs and letting me polish them i don't mind and still get the pleasure of looking and polishing them.

The site brought out trophies for polishing. I have got quite a few of these already, all the low/easy ones obviously but also the polish 10,000 LE Bling and almost got the polish 10,000 Bling in 48 hours one twice but the first time i ran out of polishes just over 9,000 blings in and the second time i was 4 polishes away from getting it when i ran out. Noooooo!!! I guess i need to buy a mega polisher power-up to get 10,000 or more but doubt my hands will manage it so not gonna bother.

Anyway, hopefully i get the polish 25,000 LE Bling and the polish 75,000 bling (later on when i'm at a higher level). I'm hoping to get the polish 25 credit from 2012 and 2013 awards but these blings seem pretty rare so it'll take a long time to get them, i still think i will do it. I also hope to get the polish blind box sets and the awards for polishing exotic bling but finding these really hard to get.  I'm pretty sure i won't get anything over the polish 10,000 in 48 hours as it hurt my hands each time going for just that award. I'd say most of these trophies are only worth going for if you really enjoy polishing bling as they will take some time and effort to get. I notice i'll need to polish 1,000 fuponies to level and have no idea how i'm  going to as i have only polished 4 in my whole time of polishing.

I see they are bringing back the old LE Bling. I really, really, really, hope to get a (make that several) love monster(s) that way. Didn't think i'd be able to get one but now they're bringing the older stuff back i'm hopeful. I also fancy trying for some other of the LE Bling awards (and free power ups with those) but not sure which i will manage coz of the cost.
And i'm hoping to get the full set of blooms that have just come out, they're quite cheap and i've no bills this month so think i'll manage that.
And on top of all that i'm hoping to get at least 10 Inferno bling for bombing 116 albums with one Cherry Bomb.

If you came looking for polishing award advice i have a little i'm prepared to giveaway, but not much as i don't want to harm my chances of getting awards for myself, plus anyone who enjoys polishing bling will be able to work out most of the advanced tips for themselves anyway.
1) Only go for the bigger awards if you enjoy polishing bling because you won't enjoy going for them otherwise.
2) Don't go for the big collections of LE bling. Everyone else is doing the obvious/easy way and so you'll have to keep a tight polishing schedule to continue polishing them, it's unlikely you can do this if you have a life. Slow and steady is fine, small amounts here and there go towards your count.
3) You should bookmark big collections of normal bling (1,000+) for when trying for the 48 hours polishes though. You don't want to waste time looking for normal blings when nobody cares to polish them and so any collection of them will do.
4) Rememer that although you want to get your awards maybe the person who owns the bling also has things they want. Like and rate them 11 just for being nice enough to leave their blings open for us, if their user name asks for pokes, adds,whatever then do that, check their page to see if they mention any awards they are going for and help them with that if you can. Most people are reciprocal on here so that probably didn't need saying but some people do complain on their profile about their blings being polished without these things so i'm mentioning it too.
5) It is disappointing if someone has settheir blings to not be polished but some have it on their profile that they'll open them if asked,so check their profile for that also.
6) Have fun. when it's not fun just stop and try again some other time when you feel differently.
7) Additionally (but not really important) i polish all their favourites, no matter what their credit value is, just because they're their favourites. I also send them a shitface if i see them online without one (they get more points and fubucks for that) but i do this for anyone i see without one who is online.

I don't have much bling that goes towards awards yet but what i do have at this time is;
1 fullset of cats from the blind boxes
1 Jesus raptor
2 25 credit normal bling (in my favourites)
Couple of squirts.

I will never ever like the pooping butt bling but i do regret not getting one as one gives you 100 ach. pts.
