A Child will love forever
A child will love forever no matter what it is you do.
They think you are the greatest and are learning off of you.
You think they don't love you because of their behavior.
If you take a moment you will see they are your savior.
Didn't they save you from the drugs and alcohol?
Or was it the wild life or anything at all?
You might not see it now and you might not think it's true.
Just take a moment to tell them, I love you, too.
You will see their eyes light up and face turn red.
But assure them there is nothing to dread.
It's okay for parents to love.
They were sent from up above.
If not for parents, where would they be?
In the streets, a shelter, or else where, you see.
Take the time to say it now.
In any way you can, just show it somehow.
When they are in a grave and not by your side.
It's too late to have arms opened wide.
If not right now, then when will it be?
Say it pretty soon, if you were me.
