I sit humbly remembering all that i saw that day .. things u never see on tv .. things that soliders see every day in combat . and people that live in countries that are torn by pain and civil war. I watched the news all day that day. i was glued to it. i was in state of shock i was in Australia worrying About my fiancee at the times family .his Mother living inbrookyln , his father driving the trains through New york City , and his borther somewhere there and his cousins . Oh God my heart was filled with so much pain and worry . and i couldn't get through for days i remember it taking about a week to get though and try and locate his mother for him .. as he was currently stationed in Korea at the time and i took it as my hourable duty to find them and any inofrmation about them that i could. I knew that people trapped were still using thier cell phones so that they could be found .. so i let them go first ..and let the people who were right there try to find thier families first . 

I will forget that day war brought to our streets . i will never the heroes , not caring if they lost thier lives to save others. I call them the civilian soliders. Becuase on that they all were. The unity between people was strong .. strangers helped strangers . people who would otherwise never met , met . 

Our lives lives changed forever that day . Gone was the sensation of this could never hapen here . And born was the fear of when it would happen again . I remember it like it was yesterday . We all have our stories . each one as precious as the last ..lets share today and heal a little .. cry if we need to , hug and comofort others that need it .
