They tell me I'm 60. They also tell me I don't look like it. I sure don't feel like it; I feel more like I'm 30.I'm a "retired" former newspaper editor, and basically do whatever the hell I want, whenever the hell I want to do it. And I don't particularly give a damn what anyone thinks about what I do!I am, however, quite laid back, honest, loyal, romantic, and a good conversationalist -- with women, anyway. A good red wine, a fine cigar and a beautiful, intelligent, independent woman -- not necessarily in that order.
Other than that, I enjoy fishing from my kayak in area lakes, photography, cinema, Minor League Baseball (I have a season ticket to the Phillies' AAA franchise here), auto racing, reading, computers, family genealogy, Civil War and German Third Reich history, and so much more!

I have eclectic musical tastes. I'm into most anything with 3 exceptions: opera, rap and hip-hop.

Citizen Kane, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Silence of the Lambs, Dr. Strangelove, Mystic River, Avatar, Jules & Jim, The Seventh Seal, anything by Alfred Hitchcock, The Last Picture Show, Apocalypse Now, Patton, Lawrence of Arabia ... Hell, I could go on and on. I love cinema.
Idols
My father, who was always the man I strived to be. Abraham Lincoln, who is responsible for the United States as we know it today -- a great man, great leader and great thinker. And Sir Winston Churchill, whose stirring words kept British spirits up when bombs were falling all around, and who saw Hitler for the tyrant he was. (Many of his quotes are my favorites. "I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.")
