Same family, slightly different branch of the tree is all. Country is fine. I just prefer to hear it played live than on the radio. I've messed around with that twangy sort of sound but none of my guitars sound quite right that way. Someday maybe I'll invest in a Tele and give it a more serious shot. It sounds awesome in the right context...lol.
I play nothing very well...lol. In fact I don't think I know a single song completely end to end. I prefer to just kinda fiddle around and do my own thing. I prefer bluesy type stuff, elctric or acoustic, and every once in a while I like to crank up the overdrive as far as she goes and make some serious noise...lol
