When you walk for miles,
And all you see is sand.
Do you realize at that point,
Excatly where you stand.
Alone in a sea of grains,
A sea of sand to the edge of the sun,
I fall to my knees,
And wonder how my life came undone.
What road did I choose,
To take me to this place.
I cover my face with my hands in shame,
As tears fall in total disgrace.
Am I to wander here till my days end,
How can I escape this creul nightmare.
I look deep in my heart,
And you still shine brightly there.
The tears slow and fall nomore,
As I pick myself up off my knees.
My purpose in life is now so clear.
To get back to you is where I need to be.
