I'm well educated, musically talented, and in shape with a sense of humor. I wake up in a good mood every morning, ready to see what life has in store for me.

I enjoy being outdoors...no specific activity, there are too many to list. For some reason animals and I get along well, have yet to meet a dog I couldn't befriend (not sure why, but I know it's not the way I smell LOL).

I love to surprise people (in a good way). I really enjoy a good practical joke, even when it's directed at me. I'm usually content to just "go with the flow". I’m very comfortable in either a fine restaurant or a little “hole in the wall”.

Like most folks I am juggling several balls at once, and am just focused on keeping them from falling to the ground. Right now I am spending a lot of time on my job due to a change in position, and have been traveling a lot because of it. That's not a bad thing, as I enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people.

I enjoy being creative. I was a professional musician for several years, in fact my major in college was Piano Performance (about as useful as Underwater Basket Weaving LOL), and still have a great time composing, recording, and playing music live. I have played the piano since I was 7 years old, played the French Horn in school, and have played acoustic and electric guitar and bass guitar professionally.

I owned a china and porcelain restoration business at one time, and really enjoyed restoring a piece so that no one could tell it had been damaged unless they used a black light. I enjoyed all the different facets of it...working out how the repair was to be done, preparing the pieces for assembly and decoration, mixing the colors (who knew there are 256 shades of white!), and best of all - seeing the faces of my customers when the piece was completed and they had a treasure back in their lives. What a great feeling that was!

As I'm sure you can figure out, I appreciate all types of art and enjoy going to concerts, museums, art festivals, etc.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and Food...

Books - Read over 500 books in the first grade for a contest, and have been an avid reader ever since! Instead of telling you who my favorite authors are (since I don't really care who wrote the book as long as I enjoy reading it) I'll say that my favorite types are science fiction, biographies, history, realistic fiction, and mysteries.

Movies - Favorites include the Indiana Jones series, "Lord of the Rings", a good comedy, and any John Wayne movie.

Music - Enjoy almost all music...Rachmaninoff to ELP to Grateful Dead to Garth Brooks to Celtic Women to...

Food - I am not a real "Foodie" but I like to try new things. Favorites include Tex Mex, BBQ, and plain old "comfort food".
